Hey, I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit and I have 6GB of Kingston HyperX RAM on my motherboard which is a ASUS P6T SE which can have 24GB of RAM, but Windows 7 is only saying there is 4GB of RAM, but when I run CPUZ is says I have 6GB. Anyone know what might be wrong?
How much RAM can you see in your bios?
Topic moved.
Do you have 2+ Graphics cards with 1+GB memory each? This used to cause vista to see the wrong ram reading on my PC.
Otherwise as above check the BIOS to see if its detected there, if it is, check there isnt a setting that hides 2gb for compatibility with some 32 bit OS's.
If all this checks out looks likes its windows' fault.
Oh btw - Hi everyone
