First: welcome to the forums.
Second: don't ask for release dates. It's done when it's done
Third: idea suggestions are closed for RotR (and ShockWave too btw) wink.gif

Welcome to the forums, and I'm glad that you are anxious for RotR 1.5.

However, there are two rules that I think you should be aware of:

One, here at SWR, we never give out release dates, or even estimates, so don't bother asking.

Two, currently RotR (and our other mod, Shockwave) are not accepting suggestions.

Anywho, I hope you enjoy your stay here.

Welco to the forum. SWR have a rule not to set release dates, as it leads to annoyance and disappointment. The standard answer is "When it's ready." Also suggestions for RotR are closed as the team has a full design setup already in place. Hope that helps

See the Update Archive in the forum for the release date of version 1.0

It's been a few years now I believe

It has beena round quite a few years indeed, and if you count in the old ROTR 1.0 under Grazor, it is even longer. Btw, welcome to the forums.

I was just wondering, testers have you already tried 1.5 and/or 2.0 or is the mod not even that far? Im just asking this because i would like some new gameplay and don't fancy waiting ages on the next RotR

Rise of the Reds undergoes an evolutionary series of internal beta releases, with many versions each adding small amounts of content over the last ones. As such the final release versions haven't been trialled yet (if they had you'd probably have them by now), but it's very close.
2.0, on the other hand, is a long way off yet.

Definitely not 2.0, we don't get anything that early.
We're not at the 1.5 stage yet, almost though tongue.gif

So it's so close, but it's not even in the betas yet? T.T
How are the internal betas versioned btw?
Is it like 1.25
Or like 1.2.0.1.4

Technically speaking, all internal betas after 1.2's patch launch were betas for version 1.5, they just had different names.

Actually, SW and RotR internal betas are generally named quite randomly. Sometimes the number is lower than the next release, sometimes they're higher, and sometimes they're the same, but with alphabetic prefixes. The number chosen is fairly close the the next public release's number, and works towards it with increasing numbers or alphabetically. (Although this is not always the case)

Truth be told, the names don't matter much since any reasonable number between 1.2 and 1.5 could all be the name of the internal beta before launch.
