How Come these gib files keep turning in to BIG files even if i am not doing anything???

Because that's what the launcher does.

He said he was not doing ANYTHING, so this commonly includes he did not activate the launcher.

He only thinks he's not doing anything. The most common cause of this would be a crash occuring that prevents the launcher from renaming the files back to what they should be.

Alias is correct, There is no other reason for this to happen. Restart the Shockwave launcher and exit and the .big files will be renamed to .gib again.

Somehow It Tends to stay to Big.Files even if i exit the game and launcher.

After they turned into .big you booted the mod and exited without a crash, and they remained .big?
