While playing GC as Deathstrike, I decided that I wasn't going to be bashed by his Nuke Cannons anymore and took the liberty of capturing a few before taking out his tech building.

Then I found something odd, Tao in GC has both the standard Nuke Cannon and the one specific to him.
I discovered this by the double click to select all not picking them both up.

I expect this is due to the cutscene at the start having normal cannons in it, but this should really be changed for future releases.

For those who like pictures... here's my proof.


Edit: If this is not changed, with the new model for Tao's nuke cannon, it'll cause a much more noticeable difference.

Not sure if the barrel is really that different - just the angle. I am pretty sure the only difference visually is the Nuke Symbol behind the cannon.

I actually think there could be made something out of this. First come the normal Nuke Cannons and once you approach his Base and get too close, the other ones come. =o

I just explore the map in worldbuilder.
even in ZH, the nuke cannon in nuke general GC intro is vChina nuke cannon. it uses ChinaNukeLauncher instead Nuke_ChinaNukeLauncher.
blame EA mapper for this.

Interesting but i wont be concerned about that at all.......... Its just GC after all.

Not a bad idea, but it is actually the Nuke Gen Cannons that come and attack your base. The others are the ones that sit on the edge of the city.

Besides, why should we make excuses for EA cutting corners? tongue.gif
