Damn!!!! Just 2 days before my bday!!!! All was quite and all of a suddenely this pops up. Aweseome guys.....brilliant. You guys rock. Just woke up in the morning to check mails before going to work. Russian Tremor AGAS looks for me like a souped souped up artillery barrage (no offense).
And the secondary tech buildings for each faction look really nice. It is imprescindible to build the two fpr every unit.

Just played my first few skirmishes and I gotta say you guys really improved the AI! Damn! I got beaten alot. I have a few complaints.
1. Russia is unable to access their component tower unless they build a weapons bunker. This leaves them extremely vulnerable to early rushes. Especially an early USA vehicle rush. My solution to this would be to make the component towers buildable, but not upgradable until you build the weapons bunker. That way when you have your weapons bunker being built your defenses are already there and ready to be upgraded and you dont have dozers sitting at choke points waiting to be killed.
2. Its hard to remember which upgrades are where! Industrial site or weapons bunker? I don't know how you guys would fix it, but im just complaining to be a dick.
3. Russia got nerfed. Big time, I think so anyway. It seems like your constantly fighting a losing battle unless you somehow manage to get your enemy with his pants down at just the right moment. I dunno, maybe I just suck but it seems like Russia got a bit of a nerf and USA got a bit of a buff.
4. Glitch: Sometimes infantry cannot enter a Hind they will just run below the hind and stay there rather than the hind landing and picking them up.
5. Really bad FPS lag on certain maps, I know my computer can play this game but why not on some maps like El Scorcho?
6. Really awesome job guys, take my words with a grain of salt because you guys really do some great work. thanks again!

i did notice russia got nerfed but for the good because they were to strong to begin with honestly hard russia in 1.2 was pretty hard i think they are perfectly balanced now tho i noticed you guys are trying to implement infantry more with russia i notice alot of infantry based things and upgrades while also having some tanks to go along with it i rly do like the new russia i must complain about the power plants not giving enough power tho when i build my base it seems so cluttered with power plants its kind of annoying and the upgrade doesnt do much not to mention you cant get it till like after you have evrything lol so it doesnt rly do much good. i like the new models and the vehical drop that gives u unmanned tanks i like how they are different tanks than the ones u can alrdy get its great. the rubble bunkers that appear after building destroyed they still seem kind of useless to me as they dont do much but hopefully well see a future russian general get a bttr deal with this? idk. planes and helies great work perfectly. evrything in russia still seems "texas" sized tho a lot of space is taken and even more by the low power generating power plants

@Erik, I myself too am naturally favoring some more balance in ROTR, but it's not up to me and frankly ROTR hasn't yet started a balance team yet, which I do understand for redundancy reasoning.

USA is great and i noticed russia wasnt the only one to get its defenses taken away till a certain building was built. so heres my thought USA crusader its fast its nice but useless i had an army of crusaders and paladins well guess wat was left after the game was over the paladins of course now im not trying to be rude or anything just critiquing but imo the crusaders shouldnt lose weapon fire rate while in hover mode i think it should gain fire rate possibly lose a little more dmg because of it thats just my way of thinking but i like the models none the less and i love how you brought back the detention center from vgenerals nice idea and love the way this mod is going so far as for air im hoping you got plans for something a little more heavy? the stealth fighters do alot of dmg to buildings now i like that but the helicopters i wasnt to impressed. the ospreys great but for some reason there models just dont look right to me idk looks odd like it none the less tho. fire base nice idea hoping your gonna add more addons later?

I had one shooting at a russian jet that was already in red HP three times while it slowly turned over my base, no effect.
Perhaps its the jet thats bugged?
But giving the main battle tanks after tech1 seems a little to much RA3-i-fication to me. China can only spam gatlings and semi-troopcrawlers if they dont go fast tech. To me the flak trooper seems weaker at anti armor but i haven't tied it that much.

Erik's computer seems to make the errors, not the mod, I have played fine so far.
Some issues: the Black Hawk can deliver supplies, the Crusader MkII uses upgrades for its engine change - why? - and yeah that is all.
Edit: could you exchange the position of Detention Camp and Strategy Center in the dozer menu please?
Any other method couses instant death to the crusader once it becomes veteran.
I've tried and I'm quite confused with the new teching requirement. Tanks require med-tech building. Hmmm....interesting.
I have to get used to it too, and actually, I do not like the order in the Dozer's commandset in general, for all 3 of them. I will make a tech tree now since I have got a little free time to celebrate the ROTR 1.5.
Also, since I complained a bit before, now on to the great stuff: new mechanic for the Tomahawk is awesome. Flamethrower for Han is great. The Breeder Reactor is really useful, as is the new Sat for the Russians. New sounds are great.

All the new features are pretty awesome.
I think it's actually pretty balanced now - Overlords and Paladins are fairly equal (1 Overlord vs 2-3 Paladins)
I must point out that the Blackhawk supply collecting bug is probably something to do with MEC or GC mods. As it didn't happen for me.

I tried it and finally Russia got a nice economy burst.Everything is superb.Gameplay is excellent.But i got some anomaly on dark night map where in the center my three BMP's got in the water but when they came out they still had water floating effect on them.The most confusing elements are building orders,were is different for China than for Russia and USA.But most shocking thing was about Han gunship where i saw flamethrower upgrade. And it rock. But VDV rpg's are excellent,Osprey is excellent,Blackhawk is excellent but i'll wait for to confirm that.And 4 min for armored reserve is good.At the end,I had 12 Rhinos and 6 BDRMs instead of 20-20,so its quite plenty.

When first time play it, I'm little bit confusing with new tech building and requires stuffs. Such as defense buildings.
However, it's much improve than last version.

I thought it was Christmas morning when I saw a ROTR update with the new Tomahawk launcher. It's my favorite unit by far, even tho I prefer to play with Russia.
I have a game play complaint about the Han gunship. I personally feel like the Han gunship was better represented in earlier ROTR version. A helicopter with flamethrowers is something I would have expected from Contra. It seems a bit ridiculous, and kind of just ruins the Han gunship for me when you see all of this realism applied stuff and then you see a helicopter with flamethrowers. It just doesn't fit in my opinion. Sure the chinese have some flame based weaponry, but I still think that when you apply that to a gunship it just doesn't feel right. Nor is it practical in real life. (I am sure that can be debated but the majority would agree with me).
Han is my favorite unit in game. Flamethrowers is best upgrade of course.
Not sure if this is a bug or you planed it this way but is the Blackhawk supposed to be able to carry two tomahawks?

ok well i played china today they are good love the han gunship flamethrower add on. so heres my thoughts on China not enough anti-tank i suppose it has to do with china being a massing faction so mass tank hunters? about the tank hunters they seem kind of weak against vehicles i mean they can hold a small rush or so but later game they seem kind of useless without being bunkered into an overlord or somthing and idk if it was just me but i swear they did more dmg in the neutral bunkers than my own? i had 5 in each so idk. aircraft was good nothing changed there.

After playing more games then i should have on a work night. (so so sleepy) theres only one thing i can say. THIS ROCKS! i love playing that supply map. but the one thing i would change is the Sentinel turret-move sound. it sound like nails on a blackboard. the sound just gives me the shits after a 30plus min game. but apart from that. Grant release. i look forward to play a nother 200+ games until next release.

I also played a few skirmishes. The games looks a bit more balanced IMO. I really love the new Airfield design for Russia . The new sentinel model rocks big time. Although the new tech tree takes a bit getting used to its not a big issue. AI is more competent which is awesome.
I also like the fact that the sniper gen point being moved up one level. However i should play more games to see whether this would cause an early game imbalance.
I noticed a slight FPS drop when the AI started using the Satellite scan. I will check whether this is a recurring issue or just happened at that time. As for the US, i feel that the cobra's model is not up to the usual SWR standards, however i only played US in the new map which is very dark. Perhaps i have not seen it properly .
As for disappointments,
I was expecting a few more 4 or more player maps.
Also i was expecting the TOPOL-M to be included in this version. Maybe i am not well updated on this. I was thinking it would be included in this update .

DAMN i just play my first hard AI game and it took me just under 4 hours to win! i must say. it was the longest and must fun game i have had. (in ZH) keep up the good work!

@Sentinel turret sound: I agree, it is a bit annoying, and does not really sound like from a BIG tank.

For some reason every time I am victorious (or at the end of a battle) I get a serious error - probably due to overheating hardware though
well, i tried it yesterday very fun. however, i'd like to address some issues i noticed on the russian side
Component towers
The main anti-tank weapons of the RF, they are built too late in game, the fact that they require a weapons bunker in order to be built means that any player is very vulnerable early game, by either a very quick hover crusader spam, or humvee rush. plus the fact that russia lacks any effective anti-infantry defence other than tesla coils make them vulnerable to anything on 2 legs, unless supported by expensive russian BMP-3's and helis. Hence i suggest giving the AT missile an EXPLOSION damage_type, but still giving it a small splash damage, to be more effective as a defence but still vulnerable to infantry forces.
Kashtan
The Kashtan's role is effective against any aircraft, especially helicopters, but i find that the cannons do very little damage, compared to the missiles. plus the kashtan's anti-ground role is relatively neglible, as it is very very ineffective against armour, but relatively useful against single infantry. i understand that all defences require support, considering the weak anti-infantry infantry, plus the fact that the only effective anti-infantry ground platform is the BMP-3, which has its role taken over by kodiaks, means that the kashtans require a large amount of resources to be rendered effective, which is not helped by american aerial power, which can easily destroy any forces as the russian airforce requires a gen points and lots of resources to be built.
Sentinel
Big and slow and expensive. TBH, i find the sentinel relatively useless. although it is considered a heavy tank, considering its price and speed, i was actually expecting it to have a more powerful main gun, and basically a turretted basilisk. it was not. it moves very slow, useless to support any MBT as it has the same range as it. plus it is usually outrunned by the tanks it supports. it is only effective when against single units, where its firepower is an advantage, but not against any massed unit as its slow rate of fire and slow speed makes it very vulnerable.
my suggestion is to increase the damage of the main gun slightly, maybe by 10%, or increasing its rate of fire. however, the sentinel maybe more useful had the russians have a transport heli

Wow, I'm very much impressed with quality and overall thematic presentation in this release.
And OMG the AI is actually fun to vs now, its actually a constant struggle against a Hard AI to get the upper hand. (only issue ive noticed is the AI not functioning correctly on some maps e.g. Harbor)
