The problem is as follows. When you run through the launcher pops up problem "You have encountered a serious error. Blah blah blah." Tried to run the launcher through the authorization of the administrator, compatibility mode - did not help. Generals, Zero Hour, and a few other mods (Last Stand, Project Raptor, Contra 008, Contra 009 RLM) run normally. How do I fix this error?

I'd recommend doing a clean install, and removing any other mods that you're using. |

Well, the old problem was gone, the new has appeared. Trying to find the forum search returned no results ... Played call for General Townes (laser) on the hard difficulty, won, after saying "you win", the game crashes with the error "You have encountered a serious error. Blah blah blah" . There is a way to fix it?

No, I don't think there is. There is a serious problem with the General Townes level. I've been playing Generals again these last few weeks and gotten maybe 5-6 errors, all on General Townes. It's such a badly optimised game, unfortunately.
