Because this forum needs more -oriums in every bloody title. Alright let\'s be real, I should had done this eons ago before when we were at E-Studios/Fallout Studios but I\'ve neglected showing off some content for too long! For many years I have shown my work only to the internals of SWR, only showing my work to exclusive people. Why you ask? What they say about yourself being the greatest critic is true, I never felt confident enough to show my work outside SWR for either personal reasons or the laziness that consumes my habits of everyday life. Well no more! From now on I\'ll try and update this thread whenever I have time, showing off new signatures, avatars, drawings, models, textures, levels (maps) and so on. I\'ll post the many concept works I\'ve made over the years of working with SWR Productions, content which were seen or never seen in Shockwave, WarGames Zero Hour, Rise of the Reds and some completely unrelated to SWR. Stay tuned. I will take requests and ideas if you wish to contribute! In return you\'ll get the best possible product you wish to get, what else can you ask for ? So let\'s start fresh and show you some of the signatures I\'ve made thus far that I feel good about: Created using footage from the Meet the Demoman video. Created from scanned art from the W40K book \"Only War\" Latest work, created using WoW Model Viewer. Too lazy to throw my drawings in here, since there are tons that I need to grab from multiple threads and grabbing the old work I\'ve done. Gotta look through a lot of shit you know Sig/Avatar Requests: If you wish for me to complete a request from you I only ask you to explain what you want as well a providing some reference material for the content you wish to be made into a signature. I will try to the best of my abilities to use what content you have provided, but will also likely wing-it and use similar content in the same manner as the one you have provided. There are exceptions of course, those of which would be if they are under the same game or movie etc. Thats really all I ask. Also as a note, most of my signatures are larger than what some forums expect you to have their size. Here at SWR however, we find that signatures are a way of making the forum much more livelier with graphics and themes, why they are bigger than others was simply a matter of making them stand out more and most importantly: -------------------- SWR Co-Lead | Texture Artist | Modeler | Level Designer | Fan of all things Awesome |

You've got talent, mate. I like the signatures. Even though they're a _little_ too big for my
liking, they're among the best sigs with that 'render sticking out'-effect I have ever seen. This post has been edited by Rayburn: 3 Jun 2009, 8:42 |

Those sigs are getting bigger and bigger it seems.
Nice work, though. The various elements seem very coherent. |

Couldn't resist I'll see if I can turn it down a notch, although the size still fits our signature size limits Edit: Just so you know its 350x700! I'll also be posting the compilation of artwork I've done for Shockwave and Rise of the Reds over the course of my years here with the SWR Team and those before we actually became an entity. -------------------- SWR Co-Lead | Texture Artist | Modeler | Level Designer | Fan of all things Awesome |

OMG, what stone have I let gone rolling? =^.^=
Anyway, I want to request a 'Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni' combo, preferably with Rena for ava, Rena and Mion or Rena and Rika as sig, where in the background should be a ghostly Hanyuu. A bit bloody, but not too much blood please if that is ok of course. Thank you in advantage. Edit: stupid typos. Edit2: really stupid typo^^ This post has been edited by KamuiK: 3 Jul 2009, 15:36 |

Sure thing, it will take some time to do some research on them and would be best if you have some images that you preferably like for the signature and avatar. If not I can do some searching myself to find the images based on what you've mentioned in your description. -------------------- SWR Co-Lead | Texture Artist | Modeler | Level Designer | Fan of all things Awesome |

Sorry for the delay guys, I shall have your stuff ready by tomorrow. Sudden lack of sleep and school + friends made it nearly impossible to get even on my computer at all today.
Edit: Your signature is complete Kim, Viper I'll be working on yours next and get it to you as soon as possible ! I actually made 2 variants for you Kim but I think in the end the one I winged ended up being better, your pick as to which one you want to choose: Avatar: Variant 1 (the one I winged): Variant 2: I'll have to warn ya, you wont be able to use this one at FS unless I get you a smaller version with the max size over there. Let me know if you do want a version for it Source 1 Source 2 Source 3 Hope you like it Kim Edit 2: Combo work, done with yours Viper, hope you like it Source mainly from Google Image and some searching, waayy to tired to post them right now. -------------------- SWR Co-Lead | Texture Artist | Modeler | Level Designer | Fan of all things Awesome |

Well it's nothing like super special or important.
But I got Tune-Up Utilities 2009. And you can change the bootscreen and stuff for Vista. I don't know if you use Vista but as it starts there is a glowing windows logo. Now I had this crazy idea of replacing that with a Russia/ECA symbol that does a similar sort of glow Sounds crazy I know. But would you be able to whip something up? My screen resolution is 1280x800. -------------------- |

Ooh, that one looks brilliant. Love the texture and how you still managed to give it a sense of depth despite being a flat, abstract object. Cheers, mate!

Does that sign mean anything? To me it looks like Anthrax symbol (or biological weapon/danger in general) with 4 instead of 3 open circles.

It's my personal logo although you're right, it's actually based off the bio-hazard sign.

Biohazard was the word yeah. Interesting concept anyway, is there a reason you did that? I mean making your personal logo based on biohazard?

Not really, it's not supposed to bear any connotations. You may also recognise the Roman-style laurel wreath and the abstracted 'sun
rays' which resemble the Rising Sun flag of Imperial Japan. But I just drew inspiration from these elements for aesthetic purposes only. |

That sig is very nice! Kinda puts your personal photo to shame now doesn't it? That's not really fair to say seeing as I got the idea from that exact image. Very, very nice Comr4de. I like the honeycombs, more is better However the...err..."border" surrounding the image stands out too much...a tad of transparency might do some good.

Thanks for the comment guys, even though my sigs are HUGE it's mainly because I like to keep the image that I use as close as possible to the original size. Also 'kid, ECA sigs would merely consist of the logo and whatever unit render we have of a unit we have used, your going to have to be more descriptive than that

Very nice sig. Judging from the size of the sig and the number of them you've made, you must be a huge Xenosaga fan. I like Kos-mos as a character, but I've never played the game, probably never will as I'm not a fan of console JRPGs anymore. I've watched the a few 'episodes' of the game on VGH, though.

Xenosaga is probably one of my favorite if not only JRPG that I'd play legitimately (next to Final Fantasy of course). While I can't normally cope with techno babble I can forgive it since I just love the characters so much as well as some of the art designs. I actually first got into it thanks to Kamuiks sig portraying T-elos & Kosmos I decided to finally look into it. Looked it up, watched the anime (which was ok) and decided to buy all 3 games for my PS2. First bought the 1st one and loved it, the other 2 shortly followed Let me tell ya though, the 3rd one was a bitch to find since it's a rare find now. Check on amazon or ebay, it ranges for 30-60 USD for a used copy and 60-300 USD for a new copy. Luckily I got 'em for fairly cheap with the 1st and 2nd being 15 bucks each and the 3rd one which I finally found a week ago for 33 bucks in perfect condition with manual and all. Damn lucky. ..glad you like it though -------------------- SWR Co-Lead | Texture Artist | Modeler | Level Designer | Fan of all things Awesome |

Really? One of my brother recently started playing those games...he doesn't have the third one yet! Nice. If you don't mind sci fi and random techno babble you should try it out yourself. A sig for 'kid, also a ECA theme. Anything else I've forgotten D: -------------------- SWR Co-Lead | Texture Artist | Modeler | Level Designer | Fan of all things Awesome |
