sorry that I have already created another topic with this (I miss "delete" button on this forum),
because I think it's also suitable for this thread. During week I am in the college house of the University of Technology in Brno. And this is what I can see during twilight from a window: (click to see the whole picture, currently it's my desktop wallpaper) First I took 2 photos with 1.6MPix phone camera then connected and fixed them in the GIMP (I had to use perspective tool, clear those photos from noise - esp. sky, change colours a bit). However some details couldn't be fixed - like blue Siemens neon light. Near buildings are college house buildings, there is by-pass highway behind those trees (and few other things), those buildings in the front of the tall one are office buildings which belong to Siemens, IBM, sgi and few others. That tall building is main building of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication connected to main building of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in the right side and other buildings which belong to these faculties, few more buildings are behind. Simply it's whole campus of two Brno University of Technology faculties. http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/981/spa0553.jpg However my faculty (IT) lies a quarter hour away by foot. http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/1315/spa0541.jpg Now you can see, how this camera on Samsung mobile phone takes photos (inferior to any real digital camera). I think about getting some real camera, but currently I don't have spare money on this (and I think I'll buy one, because in Summer I am going to Alaska to work hard in one salmon-processing factory). However do you think this hour GIMP job was worth for it?
