When a Decoy Drone is upgraded with the sentry gun and is ordered to disguise itself as an Exo-Suit, the model will display the Exo-Suit's autocannons when attacking and then hide them when not attacking.

That's correct. The special code EA invented in ZH patch 1.04 for the Avenger could be used in this case.
