I really need some tips on how to defeat GC Townes with Thrax. I would really like some tips on this Mission. The major problems that I face are :-
1) The Stinger Sites do not work against the lasers as the people inside get roasted. 2) Garrisoning Buildings does not work as they get cleared by Microwave Tanks behind a few Paladin Tanks. 3) The lack of air units and medium armour really makes the mission hard in my opinion. Are there any strategies to cover these weaknesses. 4) Should I use the first General Promotional Point for The Marauder Tank or for Scourge Artillery. Oh if You didn't know what GC is it means General Challenge. This post has been edited by EIGHTYTWO: 5 Nov 2013, 12:42 -------------------- |

1-Tunnels can be your bullet damage source wich is low but its cheap and uncounterable.200 per tunnel if you consider RPG trooeprs are 300 each.
2-Unless you can use jarmen wich is abit late game for you 3-Grenediers are your friends withbattlebusses 4-Both isnt good... I know what GC means The thing is that toxin lacks any certain dps units so late game eco with buggies and battlebusses are your best go....Try to expand early game with a technical and get the supply in the west...Then go get some AA units incase of comache attacks. Key note; AI is an idiot; Use stealth and building supplys by boxing them in. When you get nerve gas spam it and create small armies to capture or chokepoitns infront of the WF.Bounties are your only hope till late game, toxins dont leave a dent on lazer or tank general.
