Today, we are happy to present you the first variants of the much-anticipated GLA Recycler, starting with the unique upgrades it receives from Chinese vehicles

Salvaging a crate from a Chinese Tier 1 vehicle allows you to arm a Recycler with a fast-firing flame turret.

Salvaging a crate from a Chinese Tier 2 vehicle allows you to equip a Recycler with a long-ranged EMP blaster that is ideal to stun enemies prior to an ambush.

In the video the scrap seemed randomly produced is this currently the case?

Not randomly

Tier 1 and 2 units drop these special crates.


in this paticulair case the ecm tank droped the crate that allowed for the Napalm Fireball recycler and the overlord the crate for the emp cannon thing

so how exactly does it work with the nuclear crate?
do the overlord with a nuclear engine remplace the T2 crate with a nuke one? or drops both? or is a chance between them?
also i assume tier 1/2 crates work like vainilla crates for the other GLA vehicles?

ECM and Dragon tanks gibe you a flame thrower upgrade,while overlords and shenlongs gibe you a emp cannon or canon I dont know how to spell it right...
Just my assumption,dont take it for real.

After watching this clip for 11th time I got another thing wondering about,
will AI be able to use Recycler Truck effectively or at all ?
I know that just to make it way it is was real pain in the rear,but any chance
getting pain in player's rear induced
by these things while they being controlled by computer player ?

It's impossible use them with AI Player. Unless, it requires with new AI's scripts.

It's possible if the AI just builds them directly. Obviously this would allow them to build Chinese recyclers when there is no Chinese player on the map.. but it is really the best that can be done.
