China if has a good airforce
Light and anphebious armoured force that relies on "shells" (Fireported units that come with Infantry)
Alongside arguebly the best infantry in the game
With the best hackers in the gamehowever late game turns into a spam but spam doesnt win games, especially agaisnt salvage or toxin

What map, factions are you playing as?
10k, SW allowed and no rules right?

Generally you'll want to keep dedicated anti infantry units alongside shell cracking burst units.
Remember that if they dont mix in minigunners your Infantry such as terorrists can zone them well
you can always defend but you should generally try to scout them.

All factions have good antiinfantry weapon, if you can't use it correctly it is your problem. Improve your skill.

Well generally i'm the one playing infantry china, and basically everyone else i play with complains that there is no counter, and that it is overpowered, the people i play with generally play USA laser/superweapons or some sort of gla

Do you know a specific unit on laser USA or salvage GLA that is really good at countering mini gunners?

USA Lazer? Microwave tanks just crush them with it, flashbang rangers, Normal rangers, pathfinders.Humvee kitting works and railguns are hitscan.
Also paladins are armoured/can zap them, not to mention your battledrones also PDL after the upgrade (I think it maybe removed in 1.1)
Stealth nighthawks can outrange/kite them too.

For Salvage? Kraits, BDRM's and most noteably quad tanks if this answers your question.

Actually, lazer can kill hordes of infantry by one lazer patriot, it's the simliest decision. But it's also possible to use usual rangers, of course with flashbangs upgrade. Salvage can simply spam quads and tunnels like any other GLA.

For USA Laser, aside from what has already been mentioned, if the Mini-Gunners are on their own with no transport shells (Assault Troop Crawlers, Attack Outposts), then Colonel Burton can knife them all down in seconds. However, if they are accompanied by Outposts and Crawlers, which they certainly should be, then Burton will just get detected and mowed down by the Mini-Gunners in seconds.

For GLA Salvage, as mentioned, Kraits are very efficient for dealing with infantry blobs. Their phosphorus rocket attack is also helpful when it comes to cracking shells. Also, Katyushas are excellent against hordes, as they absolutely slaughter infantry blobs due to their high damage level and broad area of effect.

In terms of hard counters, China Infantry General is actually pretty easy to deal with. It is, however, its ability to overwhelm, swarm and surround its opponents that can make it seem "OP."

For GLA Salvage...

In addition, Jarmen Kell is also incredibly effective against China Infantry General.
...for obvious reasons.

toxin, napalm, lazor, ecm w/ other tanks (missiles will miss and gattlings will kill infs), nukes

planes can maybe counter but it's harder

oh edit: i'm like 2 months late nvm

If my enemy AI is infantry,

I just choose laser general and plant as many lazer turrets, its both for air and terrain defences..

But the annoying part is when AI, uses aurora or migs to bomb ur turrets, supply center and resource gatherer

toxin, flame, flash-bang grenades,
against troop crawler use a tank if is filled with tank hunters use some ranger, rebels or red guards to deal the damage from the at soldiers inside

toxin, flame, flash-bang grenades,
against troop crawler use a tank if is filled with tank hunters use some ranger, rebels or red guards to deal the damage from these soldiers inside(this is useful in ZH)

but in shockwave is other story, because is balanced in terms when this faction is specialized in infantry, in which, they have tanks now.
