So I have tried to play ShW online without using Hamachi by going to Generals Online and going to Mod Maps, then finding my friend, who also has shockwave. We both use TFD, and we set up a match, but when I try to join the game, it says "Failed to Join Game. Games are of different versions."
Why does this happen? We both have ShW 0.951 and TFD. If anyone has a fix for this or can tell me how to use Hamachi, that would be nice. This post has been edited by joshh: 1 Feb 2010, 0:38 -------------------- |

Are you both starting with/without start units?

Well I found out how to use Hamachi and told him how it's done. However, we both get in the game, then about 5 seconds into the game, a mismatch happens. We are both running TFD no start units quickstart. This has happened like 5 times in a row now. Any suggestions?

I believe that ZH and Hamachi are allowed on both ends. However, I can't check again until the weekend. New semester is starting and we're both really busy. I'll see what happens.

I got the same problem with a friend. As soon as we try to play via hamachi, each game results in a "game has detected a mismatch and lost syncronization"
We both got shockwave 0.951 and zh 1.04. |
