I'm pretty sure Comr4de left the m in hover mode as it was just an example of the EMP shell. i may have give the wrong inpression here. like me try to fix that up. when the EMP shell hit the crusaer tank in hover mode. why does the tank still hover with out energy? or why u choose to make it that way? maybe when EMP hits in Hover mode the tank goes back to tracks mode? i think what massey was trying to say was why is the crusader still hovering if it went offline and had no power (the crusader needs power to hover)
On a side note all the blackhawk needs is some sought of taunt you could probely get it from full metal jacket and the ranger shouts GIT SUM while he spools and fires his mini gun (sorry for the suggestion ill do it myself when 1.5 comes out) This post has been edited by Jester: 15 Aug 2009, 19:23 |

Thanks for answering my Q about Chinese artillery . I wonder whether if several nuke shells exploding at once would create a performance problem? Nevertheless the nuke shell explosion effect is kickass . Brighter than the sun indeed . BRDM also looks quite useful and i like the Rhino tank too. The satellite thing is just brilliant. I mean the idea is SUPER COOL. The map is is quite unique too. I like the geysers in the middle of the map. I guess they are just cosmetic and will not have an effect on any units. Question: Does the blackhawk come with a side gunnder ranger even if you buy the blackhawk for $400 without rangers or is it not possible and you always have to get the blackhawk with rangers with the added cost? If it comes with rangers, after you drop off every ranger, does the side gunner disappear or is it permanent? btw guys the blackhawk thing is quite cool. ------------------------------------------------ Awesome work guys...two thumbs up ---------------- Edited: I forgot mention how awesome the tomahawk wing deployment is in long-range cruise mode. I think instead of the hover crusader turning back when EMP'd it should just drop to the floor. A bit like a drone, but without the dying part.

A very nice touch for the video update I am really pleased with what I saw and what will be in the next release of Rise of the Reds.

I see what you mean. That is a very good point actually, either it has not been thought of, or, it's not possible to code, I'm not sure which. It does not go back to track mode, there's not supposed to be any power for it to shift, and in the video you can see them stay in hover mode. There is no way to buy the blackhawk on it's own. The gunner is always there, as far as I know. @ RotR team ^.^ just for lore reasons: maybe the tracks are holed up with power and as a failure-safe the highdrolic <----(spellcheck) give way so the tracks can fall back to track mode. when these no energy to holed them up. but thats just me being silly and making stuff up! i was also thinking of the gunner on the blackhank.... im not a codder or any thing but i just had 2 crazy ideas.... (not sure if they work or not) 1. u know how the GLA Technical had 3 or 4 visions. i was thinking that maybe the blackhank could have a A and B vision. A ) right side gunner and B ) left side gunner and the build que can be like: A, B, A, B, A, B, A .Ect or Second crazy idea 2. again im not sure if this is possable but... with Sage only leting u have one side gunnner at the time. Can u make it that the heli got 2 gunners and have a button on the heli that swops the gunner from left to right. As I see that, there are Bolt Rifle Mode, Bayonett Mode and as it does seem a kind of Mortar Mode, however this one seems to need an upgrade as one sees on the right. |
