Technical Difficulties (error), ROTR mod Error Options

Hey.. I installed ROTR mod.. I runned it and there is opened error "Technical Difficulties" in C&C Generals and C&C ZH I never got this problem.. I have Windows 7 x64
How I can to easy fix this problem ? I trying reinstall and this don't helped and opening as admin too

Yes.. I unistalled older and installed a latest 1.85 version

Have u edited ur zh? mod it, or whatever?

reinstal zh make sure u delete zero hour folder), patched it to 1.04, and install rotr will do the trick

This not helped.. I reinstalled a game and mod 3 times.. I think that I just forget about the mod and will play only ZH.. Anyway.. Thanks for all guys.

I had the same problem of yours and follw Oliver steps and it worked perfectly
all you need to do is
1- to uninstall all Generals and Rotr versions
2- go to your game location and see if there is any file left .. you have to
go c > program files x86 > EA Games > "delete any general files with SHift+Dlt
3- go Libraries > Documents > "Delete all generals files

4- Install the generals with 1.04 patch
5- install Rotr 1.85
6- definitely will work

Generals>Zero Hour>1.04 Updater>1.04 Crack>ROTR 1.85

Also, don't put the crack first when updating to 1.04 version. The updater does not recognize the crack as the legitimate files and thus it fails.

cos u tried to install the update after you put the crack on.

u godda update it first then crack it or u will get that.

I maked it 4 times.. First I was try to update.. Everytime writings "old files not match" or something like that.

I'm receiving the same error as Antalor when I try to launch ZH (without having installed RotR 1.85). I'm using TFD version of the game on Windows 8.1. Any help?

u dont need to patch TFD.
and it helps with tfd to set its compatibility mode to windows xp sp3
its always had issues with vista , 7 and 8

problems at pather? You update the game trough the launcher.. Try to manually update it, download patch 1.04 and install it (the launcher patcher also crashed on me, so I had to use this metho), maybe this will work for you too.

Tried this (even tried switching compatibility to Windows 7), and while the "you have encountered a serious error" message stopped showing, after the second blue Zero Hour screen it would revert back to TFD launcher and not finish loading the game.

Just did, and with every compatibility mode from XP pack 3 to Windows 7. Same thing happened.

the option detail low or custom
resolution 800 600 use low npc
and CnC Generals must Version 1.08+1.04
