Well, I've been playing 1.5 for a good while now, and while I love it to death, heres something I wondered.
When and if (I'm saying "if" cause there could be forces out of our control forcing swr to shut down or something) 2.0 comes out, we won't be able to use shocktroopers until we pick aleksandr, right? Well, if I pick orlov as the commander, would he get some weaker version of the shocktrooper? Like uh...a Tesla Trooper or something like that? Cause if he uses infantry, I would assume he uses all types of infantry, right? Rocksilver -------------------- War...War never changes, but the way you tell it can decide whether it was glorious and heroic, or demonic and an act of terrorism.

Well, he'd have kick ass infantry too. Just in another flavor. Don't worry, you'll love Orlov's infantry.

Orlov doesn't use Conscripts either, his standard infantry is Spetsnaz so he's overall stronger infantry wise than the others. That and vehicles to further support that make him a infantry reliant general, well for the most part anyway.
He also gets hinds as well as a few goodies some others don't
