The individual navies for each faction have not yet been implemented, so everyone gets the USA navy for the time being.

Technically it's more of a placeholder navy, USA will get something cooler.

More awesome than an imploding star and a burning car combined

I was wondering if GLA could possibly get an ability that lets it build a weaker version or "scrap" version of any of the factions' ships?

Hmm, might be useful. I hope the Russian gets typhoon-class submarines and the Kirov-class missile cruiser (its a battle-cruiser in all terms) for their navy.

I heard that the US navy is planning to field a new kind of UAV for their aircraft carriers. The Northrop Grumman X-48B , but that could turn out to be another ... shudder ... wasp nest. Except this time on steriods :S

MQ-9 Reapers? We can do better. How about X-47C Pegasi, or something even more advanced?

Ingenious indeed, but mildly impossible

Just sayin', China's carrier is only a medium carrier compared to the Large American ones. And they lack in experience and training, a flaw shared in the current PLA air force.

Anyway, back to topic.

I have faith that the dev's would come up with brilliant ideas for the faction navies. Still, I think that each navy ships should reflect the tactics of their faction. So, here are some ideas that crossed my head
GLA: mobility and stealth, perhaps fast attack boat with RPGs

China: napalm, EMP, Nukes. Destroyers armed with these special weapons, a Radar Jammimg Ship?

Russia: Overwhelming Firepower. Missile cruiser, RA style dreadnought, subs.

USA: Unmanned combat and Air superiority. UAV carrier, Normal carrier.

ECA: Artillery and Defence. Good ol' battleships with huge cannons? (On second thought, that seems out of date)

Yeah. Made their first ever landing on Carrier a week or two ago, still got a long road to go.
And 30 years is definitely enough to for that.

Id say that's a great idea. Screw the low techness, it could mount advanced laser guided stabilized cannons tongue.gif

As godawful as Revenge of the Fallen was, I can see the ECA using a railgun-battleship just like in the film, mixed with smaller but more efficient craft overall than Russia/China/USA

Or russian.

Rule of CNC, now two factions can use the same stuff no matter how logical it is.

I was talking about you putting down the aircraft carrier. I do agree that it that big of an achievement compared to other countries with aircraft carriers, but you didn't really have to ruin it dry.gif

The Russia will have this technology in the game, specifically the General Aleksander.

BTW: in the introduction of the ROTR you see that said unit over the Russian train, is the Kodiak of Gen Alek equipped with the railgun. wink.gif
