I want to see them make a competitive mode with one player as basically NASA and the other as the USSR's space program. Would totally make Kerbin-tipped missiles, because everyone knows the hardest substance in the galaxy is a Kerbal's helmet. |

And I assume you can ram people with your rockets? I doubt that would stay entertaining for long i think the real selling point of multiplayer is to have cooperating space missions. Like when attempting to setup a space station with 2 seperate modules you can both build a rocket with a core and expansion module and coordinate it together in order to get it docked space succesfully. -------------------- |

I played this game once and it really bugged me. It was a bit confusing, maybe because I don't watch the tutorials, but I also didn't like the overall look of the game. Especially those Kerbal people seem strange to me. Cute, but strange.

I love watching what others build. A good YouTuber to watch KSP for is Robbaz, he makes some pretty good creations and he doesn't have boring 50 minute vids.

It's all fun and games until your lander flips over on the Mun...or you encounter any number of catastrophic failures, including my ill-fated globe trotting plane that I flew up, turned into a dive to gain speed, and then suddenly nudged the controls and jerked back up, shearing off my wings. Poor Jeb, you will be missed |

Part of the game is the learning curve however.
Its just fun seeing your rockets smash into the planet due to some horrible accident. However once you get a basic hang of it its realy alot of fun building moonbases, research stations and space stations some pics of stuff i build: Moonbase with lab, and 2 rockets with room for 6 people to return back to Kerbin (earth equivelant in this game) My basic space station with science lab, core observation deck and a return rocket with room for 3 people. -------------------- |

I've seen some pretty good mods for it too, some are really crazy, there are ones with helicopter materials, bombs, cannons, etc.
I tried KSP once but I did not know what to do. I think I was just stuck on the ground, I'm not sure, I MAY have managed to get off the ground - briefly. -------------------- Your feeling of helplessness is your best friend, savage.

When I first started I decided to add a parachute to the rocket.
Sadly, they both triggered at once. I was using solid fuel. *Jots down design for smokescreen* -------------------- |

As much as I really want to play more of KSP as a full version, the price tag is really stomping on my balls.
EDIT: I finally landed on the moon. At the speed of 425.7 m/s. I didn't know that it was that fast. This post has been edited by Knossos: 6 May 2014, 13:18 -------------------- |

EDIT: I finally landed on the moon. At the speed of 425.7 m/s. I didn't know that it was that fast. Seems like a plot to blow up the moon...actually, that would be a pretty awesome mod - drill a hole into Mun, then drop a nuke down to the core and watch the fireworks (plus destruction of Kerbin). |
