SWR Productions Forum _ The Workstation _ 3ds max 8 DDS plugin error

Besides not being able to export in w3d, when I installed the DDS plugin, it still cant load it or select it, and gives me this error... Just to be clear, I installed the plugin on 3dsmax8 folder.

I've never heard of a dds plugin for max before, but I do know of a http://historicgt.fr.yuku.com/topic/1735/3DSMax-8-and-Windows-7Vista-Error-creating-Direct3D-device to get dds textures to work for max 8.
