For those of you who do not regulairy browse Fallout Studios anymore http://forums.swr-productions.com/index.php?showuser=15 or James Brown has passed away this monday.
I cannot realy express myself well in words about these things but i can tell that JB was a very valuable member to our community and that of Fallout Studios and that he will be dearly missed.

Feel free to leave him a messege here or http://forum.falloutstudios.net/index.php?showtopic=33250 where Wizard made a very nice farewell post where all of you could pass on your thoughts and last words.

Not really sure what to say.

You will be missed deeply JB.

I truly can't believe what I'm reading. It saddens me to hear that a great person in this world, one who gave kindness and virtue to others to pass away. Truly we have been stripped from one of the greatest persons any of us had ever had the honor to be with him. It's truly remarkable what he had accomplished in a few years at FS and SWR, always giving advice to others on msn, talking to whatever anyone had to say and even, in the midst of chaos, he was the guiding light, never giving away to emotion and keeping composure in the face of chaos.

James, you will be truly missed. May you rest in Peace.

Like most of the people here, I never knew CommanderJB personally, but I had played online games with him on occasion and discussed sundry topics together on the Fallout Studios and SWR forums. He struck me as a true gentleman, and an intelligent, thoughtful person who was most likely destined for great things.

At first, I told myself that this had to be a joke...I couldn't believe that he had died from falling down the stairs, and just over a month from his 18th birthday at that. It truly feels as if the world has been robbed of a great individual. We'll miss him as the community manager of the RoTR mod.

My condolences to his family and friends. Resquiescat in pace.

Rest in peace James, you will never be forgotten, for the contributions you made to this world.

I am truly at a lose for words. It is really a tragedy to when we lose an individual like JB. He will be sorely missed. Never knew him personally but always appreciated his intellect and maturity and was shocked when I found out that someone who acquitted himself as he did was only just 18. Namaste.

Rest in peace James.

Im totally shocked, I cant believe this. When i first joined FS. JB was the one who pointed me to post some bugs i found. He was always helpful and had vast amount of useful info. He would be dearly missed by everyone. Actually he suggested me to join FS and discuss the problem i found when i posted on MODDB. I owe him for coming in contact with the SWR community.

RIP James.

Ive never been good in saying these things. I donk knew him personal, but i know he was an intelligent, young guy, at the beginning of his life. He contributet much to the community, and i realised he was more mature in his thoughts and behaviour then others of his age. It makes me sad to know that somebody who had his whole life before him passed out in such a senseless accident. It makes me think about how precious life is, and how important it is to realy live your life.

Whenever a familiy member of mine died in the past i used to say this prayer. I hope you appreciate it James.
I wish you a good journey James Brown.
Farewell

His death have shocked us all like Michael Jackson.
This has made me more nervous in my upcoming exam. (I made it through right now)

CommanderJB is one of my buddies at ModDB, he's a great military expert, and I repeat, this is indeed a devastating loss to the SWR Productions community... sad.gif
Perhap we should declare a state of mourning here today

CommanderJB, we will miss you, and condolence to his family, relatives, and friends, but we will never forget you.

I'm gone for a bit and see this. I am speechless and what I wish to say has been already said more than a few times by fellow forum members expressing their sympathies to those he left behind.

C'est la vie.

Oh my god. I loved talking military tech with JB, and he was one of the people on this board I liked the most. I didn't know him personally but I talked to him on MSN for a bit during the days of the ROTR roleplay. He also fought for me when I was banned for my music playlists. The world has truely lost a great and intelligent individual, it is a sad day for mankind today.

Posted by: BlitzGeneral 25 Jul 2009, 2:14

I never knew you personally, but you were awesome JB.

Like many I did not personally know him, but he was a true shining light on the forums. A true expert on many topics, I always enjoyed reading his considered opinions on military technology and affairs.

To die so young is a complete tragedy, and my thoughts are with his family and friends.

RIP Commander.

I hope it is not wrong to ask this, so who did actually find out that JB has passed away and how did they find out?

The FS admins hadn't seen him for a while, so one of us checked his facebook which was full of RIP messages.

I think one FS admin posted a message from JB's twin brother he received through FB.

Posted by: Shock 26 Jul 2009, 13:21

JB's facebook, naturally, had a lot of condoleances and reminiscing messages, that's how it came to light.

Posted by: KamuiK 26 Jul 2009, 13:34

Ah ok, thank you all for clearing this.
