This stuff really gets me in the mood to deploy those car bombs, no homo. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8PG...SbSXJMqA8uIGs-0 These songs put me really in the mood to hijack basic Chinese tech with Recycler,so I can burn enemy bases to the ground with Napalm/Toxin combo bomb trucks. Edit : Meh,this playlist is weak,I mean there is no Salilul Sawarim in it. This post has been edited by re_simeone: 13 Jun 2015, 23:17 |

We should have a thread for all the music we listen to while playing different factions.

By the way, the lyrics on these songs are just superb. I speak Arabic fluently, so I can understand what is being said. |

Ooh, I'm gonna love this topic because I'm a great fan of music too.
To tell the truth, I don't listen to music while I'm playing because I still need to concentrate a lot. But here are some songs I listen to after playing just to stay in the atmosphere :
-------------------- "They shall come, expecting the obvious, the simple, the artless. They shall stab at the shadows with confused minds and troubled hearts. Meanwhile, we shall appear unseen from ten directions, and from every one strike a fatal blow." Farseer Caerys - Battle for the Upper Wastes of Kaurava III - 41 st millenium (precise date unknown) |

Found another one on VKontakte. Has the same structure as Hebbit Kerrih, but I couldn't find it anywhere else but there... The translated name titled it as "I go on my way". http://vocaroo.com/i/s1YLcpG4R5uL -------------------- "don't live, hanfield"

The funny thing about Qad Azamna is it talks about fighting the Russians and the "Crusaders" (The West), so it fits almost perfectly with ROTR.
We're both on watch lists, aren't we? This post has been edited by Sanguivorant: 16 Jun 2015, 15:44 |

Can someone explain how "sawarim" is "sword"? Because I looked through all translators, and it always come out as "sif" or "suyuf". :T

Saif is singular for sword, suyuf is plural.
Sawarim is actually a weird way to call a sword, though it makes sense. It comes from the Arabic root word S-R-M, which encompasses all things that have to do with severance or separation. From that root word, you can derive sawarim, which is a plural noun that severs things, a subtle way to mention a sword or sharp weapon. EDIT: The Arabic language is amazing in its subtlety. So the word "bidima" in "bidima ish-shuhadah" the "Ummatī qad lāha fajran" nasheed means "blood" from the root word D-M, correct? -------------------- "don't live, hanfield"

Yeah, so "bi" here is a prefix put before "Dima'" (plural for blood), and bidima' means "With blood". The root word is D-M, but it is weird discussing this with the latin alphabet, lol. |
