Is it possible to transfer files directly from one ini to another?

How on earth does one use gmax?

Depends in what you want to move. Objects can be moved to any ini, in any folder, inside the objects folder.

Apparently you can also move OCL entries into object inis objects as well, though I haven't tried it myself, I've only seen a minimod do it once, so not sure if it was just coincidence.

OCLs, Weapons, SoundEffects, Armors, Particle Systems, FX lists and Locomotors can all be merged to 1 ini file along with a unit's ini, I used to do that when i was porting ShW units to ROTR. But it is better to use their actual files, as sometimes, This will not work.

Commandbuttons and CommandSets can't be merged with the unit's ini. Each one should be in its own file. (Commandbutton.ini and Commandset.ini)
