For starters, you should be using 1.7 as that uses a newer launching system, not to mention is about two years newer in terms of content.

You probably are running the repair tool of the game, you should use the launcher (ROTR_Lnchr.exe) will open a window, click the first option (Launch) and good fun, if this executable is not in the game folder or the game not start after clicking launch something is wrong in your game (Zero Hour) or in its installation of the Rise of the Reds.

I have not been trying to launch the repair thing I been trying to launch Rise of the reds windowed batch file but it closes it self
and Im not gonna do Rise of the reds 1.7 why? because it does not have the stuff the older versions have if you watched Garison fields on youtube he has Rise of the reds that comes with X army and 1.7 does not have that kind of stuff only GLA, USA, CHINA, AND USA. |

Well 1.5 doesn't have the X army either, it only has USA, Russia and China. That youtube guy obviously modded his copy.
