I seem to be having a error that a lot of other people are having, I can't seem to start RotR on my 64 Bit Windows 7 Ultimate Computer, I meet all the specs and troubleshooting and I have a clean install, in fact I have played this game before on this computer. I get a black square flashing for under a second and nothing happens afterwords.

Have you tried making a full reinstall of the video game?

Have you tried disabling your UAC or Installing in a non "Program Files" folder?

I'll try installing to my desktop, but I did disable UAC.

I'm not particularly versed in the technical side of things but could this perhaps be an issue with the .bat-files that re-name the RotR-file extensions during launch?
You could try to bypass the launcher completely by manually re-naming all RotR-related .gib-files into .big-files, then start the game via the regular ZH .exe

Yeah I'm still having this problem, could someone upload their zero hour file if I confirm my ownership of zero hour?

I also got the same error, but with many mods that use launchers. I use Win-7 64-bit and all I did was disable the UAC. I did NOT do anything else besides that. Then it worked again.
