First off hi...

Now, i have had problems reinstalling RotR 1.2 and 1.5 in the past and i have fix them using different ways of fixing. So i thought i might make a thread that might help others that have already read the install guid and are still a little lost or confused on how to fix it.

Tip #1
Clean reinstall: (as told by Zeke)

http://forum.mystiquestudios.com/index.php/topic,1806.0.html

Tip #2:
Try installing in a "copy" folder idea: (As told by Anubis)

My suggestion would be from now on to install mods in separate folders even if they are compatible. What this implies :

- make a copy of your ZH folder for each mod ( Semi rename it ) and install the mod in that new folder.

Atm i have over 25 mods installed and they all work fine. Each in his own ZH directory.

Tip #3:
Try installing esle where on ur Harddrive: (as told by Claines)

when you install the Generals & Zero hour try not to install to program files as well as the ROTR's

install it in to C:\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\

do not follow this C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\

All of these tips have helped me installed 1.2 and 1.5 in the past so i thought i put them all in one "tip thread" that might help others.
The only problem I have now is... for some reasons the "Shellmap" is not palying in the back ground but thats not a big issue.

Thank you for your time.

Not quite sure why, but I have never been able to get a copy folder to work, on Vista or 7. Here's the funny part about it: If I make a copy folder, delete the original, and replace it with the copy, it STILL doesn't work. o_O
