Hello ROTR folks,

I was mapping for ROTR and I discovered in the civilian assets a new building called "SuperSecretRussianBuilding". Out of curiosity I placed it onto my map which was a bad decision: the WB showed an error message called "ASSERTION FAILURE:allocating too large vertex buffer slot" and does not work any more. I can't even remove the object from my map since this requires opening my map and being able to do something - when loading my map the editor just crashes.

(This also happened with some of the new ECA bunker tech buildings, but without that serious freeze)

I hope this is not some kind of punishment for my curiosity sad.gif

Greetings, Seth

EDIT: I could solve this by opening the map with the standard ZH editor, resulting in the evil object not existing so that I could replace it with something else. Nevertheless an explanation/fix would be nice.

This is rather odd.

Try turning off your WB shadows that always seemd to solve alot of problems for myself.

thanks, that was the reason. Really odd indeed...

+1 on "SWR is perfect"-scale.
