How can I get the game to accept the copy protection?
I have installed the game as per this guide http://www.commandandconquer.com/en/blogs/blog/179 Generals works fine, but Zero Hour suffers the instant defeat from copy protection. I've uninstalled/reinstalled/cleared data for ZH. If this fresh install works do I need to delete Generals as well as ZH? Edit: I am using a legitimate copy - CnC Generals Deluxe Edition This post has been edited by Pickysaurus: 6 Jul 2012, 17:38 -------------------- |

Win7 64-bit has a lot of different issues with Generals and ZH, no shellmap being the least. The only thing I can sufficiently say worked for me was getting TFD with the inofficial 1.03 patch.

If it's any help, I always get this at the end of the installation... which requires me to re-insert disc 1 or just skip it.
