I'm working on a "camo" generator that could be useful for people that need randomized camouflage textures for games that don't require 100% camouflage accuracy.
This program allows you to generate up to 5 layers of camouflage where each layer can contain up to 3 colours (background/primary/secondary - any of those can be transparent as well. I've found this kind of combination to be enough for me at least. Each layer is independant from other layers - this can be used to mix-match camouflage patterns. At the moment there are 2 ways of generating the camouflage.
First one is based on random calculations - this generally provides noisy camo. Second method uses a noise texture to "guide" the colour islands which provides pretty much whatever shape you want.
This is a screenshot of a newer version showcasing random positioning as well as random sizes of each object.
