cyan neon are places where I was living or I live (the biggest mark)
red stars are places where I has been for at least 1 week (except Germany, I was there on 2 one afternoon trips)
I would like to change this score, but I don't have much spare money or time (my parents travelled further than me, father was on camp in Denmark (once got to Sweden when he was supposed to be in Denmark mindfuck.gif ), my mum was born on Siberia, her father was soldier, so they had to move around the USSR, Mongolia and Hungary 8Isov.gif
My father was an assertive rebel so he could be on that summer camp or study on air mechanic in Kiyv where he met my mum.).
So what can you find in my further neighbourhood?
these:

these:

these:

(I meant those liquid)
these:

(wikipedia, from Dezidor)
these:

or these wacko.gif :

and this is faculty where I study (in Brno):

In my town
sometimes these

meet these (I don't live in Brno)

so these have to be called again... :

(also sticks like this appear then: )

(luckilly all this "wanna-fight" mess happens mostly just in small measures, mostly in pubs I8.gif )

African americans are less than 0.5% of the population here. If you want to see a lot of them in Brazil you can always go to the Northeast. There is a Mulato at 1:42 though at the left, he's approx. 65% black.

Looks like a very geographically diverse area. The waterfall at 0:19 reminds me of the Catawba Falls in western North Carolina, not far from my grandparents' home, and the vista at 0:28 was highly reminiscent of the Grand Canyon.

sorry that I have already created another topic with this (I miss "delete" button on this forum),
because I think it's also suitable for this thread.
During week I am in the college house of the University of Technology in Brno.
And this is what I can see during twilight from a window:

(click to see the whole picture, currently it's my desktop wallpaper)

First I took 2 photos with 1.6MPix phone camera then connected and fixed them in the GIMP (I had to use perspective tool, clear those photos from noise - esp. sky, change colours a bit).
However some details couldn't be fixed - like blue Siemens neon light.

Near buildings are college house buildings, there is by-pass highway behind those trees (and few other things),
those buildings in the front of the tall one are office buildings which belong to Siemens, IBM, sgi and few others.

That tall building is main building of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication connected to main building of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in the right side and other buildings which belong to these faculties, few more buildings are behind. Simply it's whole campus of two Brno University of Technology faculties.
http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/981/spa0553.jpg

However my faculty (IT) lies a quarter hour away by foot.
http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/1315/spa0541.jpg

Now you can see, how this camera on Samsung mobile phone takes photos (inferior to any real digital camera).
I think about getting some real camera, but currently I don't have spare money on this (and I think I'll buy one, because in Summer I am going to Alaska to work hard in one salmon-processing factory).

However do you think this hour GIMP job was worth for it?

Foz do Iguaçu - Brazil

The city is famous for it's waterfalls (Iguaçu Falls), and its Hydroeletric Dam (Itaipu), and for Brazilians the city Ciudad del Leste in Paraguai (because of their low taxes everything is cheaper, but there is a lot o fakes products serious.gif )

Here we have the second largest arab comunity in Brazil, losing only to São Paulo smile.gif

Main Street

Iguaçu Falls

Itaipu

Bridge between Brazil and Paraguai

My town finished building this recently. I forgot the English name for this thing but it keeps the sea water (left) from blending in with the river (right) to guarantee the ocean looks beautiful year round regardless of tide or weather.

It is roughly 1 kilometer long and happens to be a wonderful fishing spot as well because you can technically go deep in the ocean on foot and stay dry too.

I'm not sure there IS an English word for it since I don't know if they even have these in the UK XD.gif . We have tons of them in the Netherlands - we need them to manage all the water - but not as pretty as that though ohmy.gif .
