The mod is quite fun but models and overall quality is nowhere compared to ROTR or SHW. However some of the units in that games are kick-ass biggrin.gif

i must say the overall quality has been greatly improved this time.

balance, however, is still a bitch rolleyes.gif but hey, why else would you play this mod...

all in all, good fun, tons of features etc. worth a play!

one thing i really like is the new feature where you can select all aircrafts from a single type from where the usual general powers used to be. its quite handy than calling a grouping number sometimes. Specially with GLA suicide planes.

I think the idea of this mod is more about creating some bad-ass heavy hitting units than balance. Its good if you play skirmish. Still i know what you mean. But the lack of quality in some units is rather discouraging.

This has always been my opinion on Contra as well. Fun as hell to play since it's so nuts, I'm glad Creator embraced that hence the new General portraits XD.gif.

Do I have to create a copy of my ZH folder to play this alongside ROTR and Shw?

Contra doesn't work for me.
I click to launch it, get the two splash screens and then it goes back and Generals.exe closes down

I had the same issue, i re-installed ZH and installed Contra. I don't think ROTR and SHW can co-exist with contra. Now i have uninstalled contra and installed SWR stuff without re-installing ZH and its all fine. Other way round seems to be a problem sad.gif.

I'll be damned if I'm reinstalling ZH for this mod. It doesn't look THAT good tongue.gif

Well my first attempt at playing Contra violated my ZH install anyways, so I had to reinstall it.
Only played it briefly though.

If you mean graphics wise, it cannot be compared to SWR stuff. But, the fun factor is pretty high. You can enjoy it. Some units are just awesome. Its good if you want to have a laugh and a blast. It offers a different kind of thrill from ROTR and SHW. Worth doing a re-install to try it IMO smile.gif.

Edit: Apparently a fixed launcher is released

Just played the game.
It's pretty fun but there's a lot of things I don't like about it.
Games take literally hours. And you have to get General Promotions to unlock half the units/structures.
Fairly good quality, but didn't enjoy the gameplay.
