Yo buddy... Still Alive?

Eastern Asian Continent
Timeline

2010
The People's Republic of China gains interest in the Spratly Islands and has started to give warnings to negihbor countries that has acess to the South China Sea
Other countries continued to claim specified parts of the said group of islands

2012
Current President of the Republic of the Philippines, Benigno Aquino III signed an administrative order that states all governments agencies to refer parts of the south China Sea be refered to as the West Philippines Sea
Other Countries followed suit declaring their own part of the South China Sea as their own
Most Western and European countries recognizes such zones and claims of water territory but the PRC rejects every claims and requested to properly refer the Southern Sea as the "South China Sea". China continued it's claims of territory to the spratly islands

2013
China increases it's presence in the Spartly Islands by sending patrol boats for routinely patrols in the south china sea. This resulted with multiple confrontation between fisher men(from Vietnam Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, etc) and the aforementioned patrol boats
2014
Most of the Eastern Countries in the Asian Continent experienced a major economic boom.
China with it's rising economy, it focuses to it's weapons and technology research with it's mindset is to develop a fifth generation aircraft that could potentially outmatch the American Raptor
News about claims the Spartly Islands subsided and have regarded by the internet society into nothing more than a internet meme
Other countries also modernized their military forces. Indonesia and South Korea in a joint development for an advanced defense fighter. Japan and Philippines in further enchaining their navies. Malaysia, Brunei and Vietnam adopts a modified m4a1 carbine suited for jungle warfare for field testing.
A super Typhoon hits the Philippine Archipelago and caused thousands of civilian casualties and over a billion dollar worth of infrastructure lost. Multiple donations all over the world flood in to help raise back "ground zero" or the Tacloban Area which was directly hit by the eye of the storm
Current President of the United States of America visits multiple Asian countries one of which is the Philippines resulting of the Enhanced Defense Cooperative Agreement.. By the following months US forced re station in the Subic Base. This prompts China to increase it's presence more in the Spartly Islands. Building fortifications and massive land reclamations of the Islands. More Chinese naval ships are stationed to protect the land reclamations and fortifications
More and heavier equipment are brought in to further speed up the construction and reclamation of the said islands
Philippine, Vietnamese and Indonesian navies overtimes their patrols at their respective borders.
Publicly released reconnaissance of the reclamation cause multiple environmental activists to appeal to the UN Counsel about the harms the Chinese are doing to the nearby coral reefs.

2015
Philippines Malaysia and Vietnam appeal to the UN Counsel about China's overstepping their boundaries and over extending their economic zone. UN warns the China about it's actions. China only disregards this and further develops the islands and it's fortifications. Construction of these fortifications reaches 50% of completion
More confrontations between local fishermen and patrol boats occurs more are starting to be aware of the treat the Chinese poses to the South East Asian nations
By early summer the construction of military buildings are at 80% of completion. UN declares the Spratly Islands Reefs to be a natural fish sanctuary, this is to force the Chinese to stop the land reclamation. China once again disregards the declamation, and to add insult to injury multiple reports of over fishing of large Chinese fishing corporations were reported. One vessel was captured by the Philippine navy where the crew where deported back to the mainland. Another similar case was between the Vietnamese Coast Guard, however the said vessel were reported to armed and fired upon the Vietnamese Coast Guard Patrol Ship, this prompted the Vietnamese to return fire and sunk the said vessel. China claimed that the ship was from an armed group whom they are "tracking" for months now.
All fortifications and land reclamation were completed and the military infrastructures are ready to be occupied soon half of the Chinese navy have been stationed in the area.
A very close encounter between a small Chinese naval division and the JSDF, where the JSDF where warned to stay out of the Sea of Japan. JSDF Aircraft continued to patrol the area, soon warning shots were received by the JSDF. Returning the favor, JSDF aircraft fired upon the Chinese vessels. Though nothing more than a few strafing runs, the Chinese failed to retaliate due to their flagship having complications to it's radio communication. This prompted the small division to retreat and give the victory to JSDF.
By the month of May USAF surveillance aircraft revealed what the Chinese have been. A small armada already stationed to protect the almost complete airfield built in the past months.
Stationed USN ships aid in patrolling the West Philippine Sea and the coasts Taiwan.
Philippines convinces it's neighboring countries for a joint naval exercises near the Spratly Islands. In truth this was joint naval operation to protect the islands the was still left untouched by the Chinese Forces.
By the end of the year a joint agreement were signed by Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, Philippines, Indonesia and Japan to form the Independent States Air Force. A joint Air force where it's purpose is to protect all areas that is still not in Chinese control. It also serves as the aerial espionage for the following countries. ISAF is also responsible in keeping civilian aircraft safe from possible terrorist attacks/hijacking. It prevent the same situation or missing flight mh370, which was finally confirmed to be caused of hijacking. Apart from the formation of ISAF, the joint usage to military bases of the countries was also agree upon. Which are: an Airbase in Vietnam, Two Air bases in Malaysia, 2 naval bases from Indonesia, 3 Air bases and the Subic Naval Base in the Philippines , lastly two naval bases of Japan.

2016
Taiwan joints the ISAF followed by South Korea
South Korea and Indonesia abandons development of the advance defense fighter and chooses to develop a Multiple Combat Vehicle. Vietnam took interest in this project and starts funding it.
First confrontation between the ISAF and PLAAF, when a Chinese reconnaissance plane entered the Northern Luzon Airspace. The Aircraft was surrounded by the ISAF and PAF and forced it to land at Clark Air Base Pampanga. The Crew has been imprisoned and is waiting to be deported back to the mainland. The Chinese Aircraft is confiscated by ISAF and turned into a AWACS

2017
Following the JASDF advice the PAF and it's ISAF wing acquired two AWACS modified from Boeing 747
JASDF upgraded their own AWACS 747 with new radar equipment and countermeasures
Another Asian Economic boom (althought not as great as the last time) allows PLA to fund further development for Gattling weaponry, EMP and ECM.

2018
[Second Korean War]
The crisis in Korea frightens the Asian markets, resulting in the partial collapse of the Chinese real estate bubble which sends tremors across the global economic landscape and results in a period of open infighting within the Chinese government.
[Taiwan Conflict]
Most of the Taiwanese forces who miraculously escape (mostly the Taiwanese ISAF wing) arrived in Clark Airbase and are absorb into the Philippine ISAF wing
Modern Way Program by the new Chairman Zhao Wei raises speculation to all ISAF founder member countries.
2019
Japan finally stabilizes its economy after year of deflation
Korea, Indonesia and Vietnam previews their latest prototype: The ADF-MCVX-01 an aircraft that is capable of gyro configuration. This attracts USAF interest but was turn down in the end due to it being impractical (words by current Air Force Head Malcom Granger) and due to the fact that the USAF is funding the Aurora Project

Hmm, interesting. Nice work, M01! What does "PA" mean? Something with the Philippines?

This makes me want to make more "timeline"-styled fan-fics.
