Observing his talent came to doubt: you just do your art for a hobby or you do this professionally?

Well, you could say I'm doing it professionally, since I've been making a living with it for more than a year now. Although, I wouldn't say I'm really successful. Maybe it will get better over time, not sure.
But I started drawing back in 2007, and that was only for a hobby. Only started make a living with it last year. And here are some other stuff! The first two were for a board game and the last one for a private client. -------------------- |

@swedishplayer-97: He's supposed to be the client and the girl his wife. Although I admit, he does look like Freddie Wong lol.
@Thelord444: Thank you very much. That's pretty much the first time anyone said that. None of my clients ever paid that much haha. And probably never will. And here are my most recent works. The last three are from 2014 already. The audi was a gift for my uncle for Christmas. The second one is Beatrix and Wagner Santos, two characters from my fantasy story. They are followed by the lemurian EXO armor, one of the strongest units in my sci-fi project. And last is Ophelia, one of the main characters for the same project. The sniper of the main squad. -------------------- |

God damn it, your hands are magical. And you drew these in only one and a half weeks? It would take me years to come close to this perfection.

From where do you get your conceptual inspiration?

I should have commented on this earlier. Personally, I'm more into drawing rather than painting but I'd kill for that kind of talent you got there, Peter. Put it to use in any way you can. I'd also be interested if there's some sort of backstory to these scenarios and characters.

(I'm sorry if this is off-topic, peter) You know what I really hate? Imagening something awesome in your head and then not have the capabilities to draw it just as awesome on paper. I have done this a lot of times...
Oh and also, what is this sci-fi project you are talking about? This post has been edited by swedishplayer-97: 13 Jan 2014, 15:05 -------------------- |

@swedishplayer-97: Haha, thanks! And yes, I know that feeling all too well. It all comes down to practice though. The more you practice the better you get, and when that happens, you will be able to draw anything that pops out of your head.
It's one of my personal stories. I am working on a fantasy and a sci-fi story. Although, it's not written, I just come up with different concepts and illustrations for them over the time. @__CrUsHeR: Mostly from games/movies. But there are times when other artists also inspire me. And of course from real life too. Military stuff are always great to look at when you want to paint sci-fi. Or medieval armor for my fantasy etc. @MARS: It's ok. Hehe, thank you kindly! Well, as I mentioned it above, I haven't written down any of the story. I just sometimes write a little description of the characters on either my blod or deviantart account. And here's the picture I'm currently working on. The Dragon Lord and his Crimson Riders from my fantasy story. -------------------- |

Holy shit!!! Simply spectacular! Reminds the LOTR's Sauron, seems to be a commander of a dark army or an evil champion.
EDIT: But the hero is related to the dragon's thematic as you explained. I wonder what goes through your head when you create one of these designs... you could share with us a few sentences along with images to better understand their work. ---- You should work like the ISOTX graphics artists, for example, to make his paintings. The video below shows the creation of a kind of oriental temple. Haha, thank you very much!
He's Peter Palladino, one of the supreme commanders of the "antagonist" Lemurian Empire. He is also the commander of one of the 6 elite armies of the empire, namely the Dragon Cavalry. They are actually all elite dragon knights who ride powerful armored dragons into battle. I try to tell the story from the antagonists' point of view. Although it will be kind of difficult, since the Lemurian Empire is vastly superior to any other nation in my story. xD I mean come on, what can possibly stand up against an army of dragon riders? lol Ah, you mean record my process of painting? -------------------- |

In fact, a dragon will always be a dragon, regardless of the scenario or universe where it is inserted, then an army... in the D&D scenario Forgotten Realms, in the kingdom of Cormyr, there is also a royal elite army composed of noble paladins - The Purple Dragon Knights - they also battling along with their faithful Purple Dragons on behalf of the king.
You could provide us your story through a tale, submit us your particular universe - I love things related to medieval fantasy - and his story seems to be pretty cool. -------------------- You already imagined how would be SAP in the ROTR's universe?
