SWR Productions Forum _ Rise of the Reds _ Howitzers more user friendly

Hi, new here just discovered this mod, love it. Wondering is it possible to make it so you can select multiple howitzers at the same time? I tried clicking and dragging a box and also tried selecting all of same across map and still nothing. Its a real pain having to select each one and then fire them one after another, very un-intuitive. Is there any other way to fire them all in a group other than selecting them all one by one? Plz halp.

I forget, but have you tried shift clicking to select multiple? I'm not sure if that works.

But you can definitely try adding each of them to number groups, so you can quickly select your howitzers.

Tried shift clicking and that didn't work. :/ I can add them to number groups but only 1 per group. So I can cycle them faster pressing one number group after another but still not as useful as being able to select them all. Also, adding them each to a number group isn't viable for me as I usually use my 1-3 group for regular gameplay movements.

Sadly, making them easier to use is not possible without making them overpowered.

It's not technically possible even.

Pretty sure you can add buildings as a control group just like you can with units (Ctrl 1 then press 1 to select it and so on) but does it work on defenses?

you can add howys to there own ctrl group yes with ctrl+a number.
However you cannot have multiple at the same time and it can't be made that way.
