If you are reading this then you are curious about how to get your map added to one of the pinned map topics. Well, here is how:

A multiplayer map:

  • Has to look good, similar level to other maps you can find in the official map pack / map list.
  • Has to have sufficient space / base area to fit large amount of buildings. Think about late game.
  • Has to support the AI.
  • Has to meet the ROTR style supply placement. (1 supply warehouse / base area, docks and crates outside)



A singleplayer map or special scripted map:

  • Has to look good, similar level to other maps you can find in the official map pack / map list.
  • Has to... work. Scripting, map.ini, these must not crash the game and they have to do what they are designed to do.
  • Has to make it's objectives clear to the player. It shouldn't require rocket science to figure out what to do.
  • ... Other than that, everything is up to your fantasy and creativity.



Why is this necessary?
To ensure a level of quality. There are some very beautiful maps in the game and we'd like to see maps that approach that same level of detail. If these requirements are met, contact Mr_Skittles or me and we will check your map and move it to the pinned topic of it's respective category.
