I don't think you can loose your skill, yes you get slow and rusty (a few games fixes that), but its also players getting better.

imo marakar went from a noob to a pro 2000 games later
rik plays more aggressive now, compared his defensive style "im not attacking untill i know I will win" xD
bruce started multitasking, and some micro LOL
aziz doesn't spam just quads anymore, he added buggies
I def improved on knowledge of the game, and my macro level got better
knjaz is still the same rusty player he always was
M.P russia got nerfed, now he cant do anything with it altho boris still wins his games sometimes

and some players that stand out are:
Sabo, I remember winning everygame, now not every game lol
Dell who is now HeDD, def went from noob to high level
Xoac improved big time, I remember when he was one of them 3v3 players with topols 20k start
Skitt got a bit better but he refuses to play high level 1v1s, which leaves you at same med level
Celestia seemed to improve a bit
Neo is accually a decent teammate now
Ado's usa went from "go back to compstomps" to "damn did we just loose this 2v2?"

When I first started playing this mod, no one used hotkeys, no one microed, and we were all noobs

Mizo if you want to get back into it, you need to play more games, and start loosing to top players to get better, watch those loosing reps

i do play 1v1's against anyone depending on time.
theres only 2 ppl i refuse to go 1v1 with and neither of them are high level

Super Weapons fixed that
You should have seen how AMAZING it was when they were 2.5k and had the quick 1.86 cooldowns.
No joke, i reckon that is when rotr was at its best, some of the games i had on that patch were by far the best games i think ive ever played on the mod, full stop, period.
