1400, My story... Options

This is the prologue of a story that I'm working on... >.<

Prologue–1400
It is 2058.
At a classified WEA photon cannon site.
A countdown is being used for the firing of the mammoth–sized cannon.
“T-minus 5…”
A glow appears over the muzzle of the cannon.
“4…”
“3…”
The yellowish-white glow now intensified, blinding anything that dared to look.
“2…”
“1…”
“0.”
Suddenly a “zoom” sound speeded across the firing platform as millions, possibly billions of white-hot photons was propelled out of the cannon. A band of yellow-white beam instantly crosses the skies. The beam the so long that it made the cannon look microscopic. A beam like that wills surely colossal amounts of damage, and it is supposed to.
Except the beam hits nothing.
In a stroke of luck, the beam hit what physic scientists called a “weak point” of time and space, which some UFO believers said that aliens once used it. The beam tore the fabric of the “weak point” up, making a worm-hole. The worm-hole (relativity small- I mean- molecule-sized- compared to other worm-holes), because it is in the atmosphere, sucked up a considerably-a-threat-to-life amount of out planet’s air. But, while it did that, it also expelled air to the atmosphere, made with similar compounds. Scientists researching this new volume of air found out that it contained similar microorganisms, which may mean, at the other side of the worm-hole…
… could be a habitable world.
This is confirmed by a WEA MASS pilot and his crew, sucked in by the worm-hole:
“…I swore, when I saw the lush forests and gleaming lakes, I thought I was in a dream. I ordered my co-pilot to slap me in my face to see if I’m dreaming. He slapped me, and it hurts.”
Nowadays, people said that the photon cannon caused 2 wars- one war started because of the WEA conquering the Arctic Circle for the sunshine- and the photons- for the cannons- the Third European War. The other war- caused by the WEA and AC involvement (it is later discovered that standard commercial airliners could fly through the worm-hole a while later, and then flights through the worm-hole started) in the new world- called “MapleStory” by the locals. There, they met two , also otherworldly factions- one to conquer the lush lands, and the other to defend the liberty and freedom of the locals. The WEA and the AC quickly reformed the old order of the UN and allied among themselves after the Third European War and prepares for a war- the Maple War.
And it started at 1400.

Edit #2: THE START OF THE WAR
1400

The Start
1345, Hainan Island, the U.N.
It is January 16, 2078. Seagulls fly around the bay, looking for fishes. A fishing boat just sailed past the harbor, with a few tons of fish in huge fishing nets. Fishermen showed off their most impressive catches and telling made-up stories of how they catch it. It is like any other day on the island.
Until the Stormians comes along, swords drawn, guns loaded and airships blazing.
Of course, now with the creation of the wormhole, at 2 o’clock, a huge disk-like object – the wormhole, of course would be noticed in the aqua Hainan skies and will be noticeable until sunset (6 o’clock), when the wormhole sets with the sun. Of course, that set s the U.N. council worrying, since the wormhole –or The Hole to the Other Side- is where the Stormians come from. (Well, the other side is a COLONY of Stormia, but in the other side, there are other wormholes like this- and one lead to the Stormians.) That is why the U.N. had built a fort on the island. Well, not exactly a fort, but a base of operations with a few SAMs sites and a station for WEA (West European Alliance, one of the two sub-alliances of the U.N.) MASS (Massive Aerial Strike System, one of WEA’s newest-and hugest- aircraft), and that even these small military installations disturbed a lot of the locals. They all know something is wrong.
Well, anyways, two soldiers decided to talk to each other, for old time’s sake. They are a part of the American Confederacy, the second sub-alliance of the U.N. And they are bored.
“Yo, man, I’m bored. You felt like shooting again at the shooting range?�
The other soldier thought for a moment. Shooting at the range is illegal-it’s reserved for training, but could be fun if you are bored. The soldier shook his head. “Nah,� he grumbles, shaking his head. “I’m too tired. I just wanna sleep, but this place is just too hot…�
“Why don’t you buy one of those straw mats? They are useful.�
“But do I have the time to buy those mats? I have a jeep to fix, and I don’t ha…�
Suddenly, alarms sounded, making out an ohhh ohhh sound, which really spooked the soldiers. The locals, knowing something is wrong, hurries to the shelters, cowering for cover. But, the soldiers stayed put. They thought that the alarm is malfunctioning- which happens several times, and waits for the “This is a false alarm� call. Instead, the call from the PA system went like this- “ALL MEN TO YOUR BATTLESTATIONS! ALL MEN TO YOUR BATTLESTATIONS! THIS IS NOT A DRILL! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!�
The two soldiers then thought, in the chaos, that this must be a prank- a lot of enlisted men are so bored that they will go this far for some enjoyment. But, this hopeful thought is wrecked when one of the soldiers spotted a flying ship, and then another one, and then another one…
The ships were part of the Stormian Air Fleet, one of the most feared of any air forces. The soldier tugged one of his comrades to one of the bomb shelters, shocked by the fact that they are coming. There, they heard the whoosh of the anti-air missiles, and the firing of the howitzers…

Onboard the HRMS Silent Swords
“RED ALERT! RED ALERT! STORMIAN SHIPS SPOTTED!� the airship’s PA system screamed while men (really, legomen – the whole empire of Robloxia is made out of plastic bricks) ran to their battle stations.
“All cannons online, sir!� one of the gunner reported to his officer. The officer reported to the captain. “This is Station 3: all guns are ready.�
“Good. Hold your fire.�
“But sir…�
The captain hangs up. He looked at the flares, now streaking across the skies. Surely they will see the warning flares by now, the captain thought, but why they aren’t turning back? Do they want another war?
Suddenly the captain’s communication officer came running down the hall. “Captain, the admiral has orders. All ships attack.�
The captain first looks at the officer, then at the Stormian airships. Oh, well- they called for it.
“This is the captain to all gun stations- fire at will!� the captain muttered into the PA system.
Well, if you want war, you got it…

Huh, this makes me want to post my book/story/thing on here... need to get it to a postable standard. The current stuff is good, but the beginning is craps... i haven't edited it at all

There will be a different narrator for each stage of the war. Each of the narrators are combatants in the war, and they will have own personal goals to achieve.

I'm working on the first guy's story. Sadly my damn little brother have the laptop, where the story is.
I KINDA used this MMV as a "platform" to build up my story... >.<
EDIT #2: Here's the notes before the story:
It’s the feeling when your favorite baseball team is tied in the bottom of the ninth at a World Series. It’s the feeling when your favorite teacher is having cancer. It’s the feeling when you just finished an important exam. That feeling is hope.
Now, this story is a mixture of love and hope, where a combatant of the United Nations United Air Force lost his girlfriend to heart cancer. But he still got hope, the hope that she’s going to burst out that door any moment by now, the hope that he can still embrace her again… and in the world of MapleStory, anything is possible. Just about anything, as long as you work for it.
And this is his story.
