I want to install the first version that turned out to be the best mod for zero hour, apart from rise of the reds, and i'm having trouble with it. I installed zero hour and patch 1.04 then shockwave 0.8. When i try to run shockwave.exe i get the following error: Could not rename file. (#2, Line 2) then my only option is to press OK and the next error reads: couldn't find swini.sw and after another ok the game closes. I know this might not be important to the majority of the people on this forum but i'm hoping that someone here could help me with my problem (i want to install all shockwave releases).
Many thanks to whoever reads this.

Can you actually upload it? The last mirror for 0.8 has disappeared and the earliest version I have is 0.92 (my 0.8 went away with my old HDD)

I did run into the same issue back when I played it a year or two ago, I just skipped using the .exe and manually renamed all SHW related files so that the default ZH boots up with ShockWave (then I just move all the files somewhere else when I'm done playing and put them back in when I play again)

You're welcome. You've said something about manually renaming all SHW related files. Im not a modder, more of a copy paste guy smile.gif. Could u tell me what files u renamed to what?

Go to the ZH directory, change the file extension of swdds, swini, swsfx, sww3d, and swtga from .sw to .big

Thank you that worked for some degree but something else needs to be changed i think, because the game is loading only zero hour units and structures.Should i change more files?
I use windows 7 64 bit and i think that is a part of a problem because i remember a while back when i had windows 7 32 bit i could load the game no problem.
http://www.gamewatcher.com/mods/command-co...wave-patch-0-91 <<< link to 0.91 patch. I forgot to give it to u last night.

Yeah that didn't work out 100%, only the loading screen changed, I forgot about file priority.

Place a !0 before every filename so it'll look like !0swdds.big instead of swdds.big
