I noticed that with 0.951 the Shockwave AI was working brilliantly on custom maps with AI(not created for SW), with the obvious exception of the 3 new generals.
With 1.0 this is still the case (yay!) with all the "original generals" but not with the 3 "new" ones.

Am I seeing the "ZH bleed" effect? Where the standard Zero Hour AI sees the specific units it needs to make, but instead of standard (Scorpion) you have a wheeled version or Stealth's version appear(ZH AI doesn't build tanks with Stealth, as he has none. SW does build tanks as Stealth) for example? And it only works because the standard generals are AI coded already in the map, just the units are different?

...and if yes, how much trouble would it be to add the SW AI for the new gens to the custom maps? Adding a script group with all the commands, or creating all the scripts itself to maximize ability usage and similar stuff?

I think AI in custom map is no different from official map as AI scripts are coded in "SkirmishScripts.scb" (which Shockwave replaces during mod activation process). By default, they would use same type of paths and trigger areas. As long as custom maps have proper path and trigger area layout, I think the AI would work properly.

IIRC, custom maps don't work for V1.0, you have to modify it's AI in some way.

Hunter said a tut will be released in the future to cover this.

Actually, they DO work in 1.0.
Tested myself. Just the 3 new gens don't work, that's all/

Well then, by definition, custom maps are only partially working at the moment.

I see.....I didn't actually tested the new generals in custom maps. AI scripting is headache process in my opinion.
