Don't Claymores do more damage then the howitzer's though?
Well I'm assuming that since they have a 220mm cannon whereas the field howitzer has a 155 gun. -------------------- Composite Armor has been installed, sir.

To be honest, I have no idea where that information came from. I noticed that it's on the Wiki, but it doesn't mention the calibre in the old render description or any other official statement. It's certainly not intended to be significantly more powerful than the static version and I'd like to know where the 220mm detail came from in the first place. The Sentinel is supposed to mount a 220mm gun, but the Claymore is meant to be a regular 155mm artillery piece as far as I'm concerned.

The new screenshots look epic. i like the new Russian coal power-plants and the new command bunker, it looks very imposing and something that Comrade Stalin would approve of.
A question with regards to the topol-M and the missile silo, what are the range of these missiles. Dot he Topol-m have the range of a maxed range Tomahwak in cruise mode, or even longer range, and what of the missile silo, since it is supposed to have longer range. Also, what is the expected price of each missile, something lie $2000 credits or more? Anyway, I love the renders, and I set the KA-68 as my desktop background, it looks very good. |

Well lets see, i try to examine the units by hopefully logical looking:
1. The one pic with small radar dome and larger radar could be a satelite based structure. 2. Tesla reactor??? 3. The radar-copter with the guns, perhaps just an upgrade (that would too lame if its actually controable, i think) But i think... dont the russian get a bit TOO much firepower??? I know you have to pay for that, but when they got money, they can easily pwn everything from the other factions. |

^ Do not be misled to assume that the Russian nukes are in any way comparable to the Chinese superweapon. Like we said earlier: They are essentially five nuke cannon shells mounted on a missile that bombard a large target area. You can't wipe out half a base but they'll do a serious number on a defensive line or a blob of units. And no, this isn't too much firepower; it's the firepower that Russia desperately needed in order to deserve their 'heavy weapons' label and restore its brute force high-damage steamroller status compared to China which has kinda stolen that from them due to theme overload in the current build.

Dat Hellion render... Let me guess, that new component for the Component Tower is a stationary version of the Sentinel ARENA System? Also, would'nt it be cool if the aircraft deployed their wheels when on the ground? It was possible in Cold War Crisis mod, can't see why it wouldn't be possible here. With smoke launchers,if we should believe this concept art. |

In my opinion the main problem is not associated with the textures but with models that have become 'obsolete' in relation with the new Russia/ECA structures. It would be great to see in future versions beyond 2.0 less asymmetric structures for China/USA.
