Because it allows players, especially with China, to start out with more diverse strategies in 1vs1 instead of just going the safe way. For example as China you always had to go for the middle road in Tournament Desert because if you didn't you have no scout and cannot anticipate on whatever enemy you will have.

Thats also the reason the bullfrog is the way it is now, for scouting purposes only.

I just noticed this, in Tagga's posts, he must have modified the game, just look at those general powers, NO WAY someone can get all those high level powers in ONE GAME.

I think China has got bullfrog is enough for investigation of China. But it's silly to kill random as one of strategy element in game.

I'm sorry if this topic was in discussion before, but can you add to Stealth Fighter's rockets immune to ECM countermeasures. AFG has problems with chinese in mid and late game due to ECM tanks.

Oh... even RP rockets could be deflected (of course, not so easy as normal ones) and comanches take heavy casualties from AA. In other hand, you can snipe a few ECM tanks and after that go for bounty on this bunch of AA/tanks.

Dear Hunter, can you explayne why after so much time of working to realise 1.0 SW general still has such OP auroras? Especially for GLA it's impossible to play. I'll just copy to you the fragment of my talking with Erik about it in hamachi:
