As for shatterers, they are able to gain veterancy and become absolutely terrifying with heroic veterancy, and are able to shoot through buildings, making them very powerful defensively. The trade-off however, is that they are much more expensive. They are also much more devestating with SnD, being able to attack multiple targets with ease while on the move (Enforcers can do the same but shatterer are designed for this). Also remember that these guys can be unmanned, and is terrible if you give 1.8k worth in the form of a unit to your enemy for a random infantry to mann that tank.

This makes a lot of sense now that the enforcer has become a drone type of unit. Smart balancing!

I was expecting fixes on the lines of the fan patch... but you do have a point.

On another note, what makes Shatterer a viable choice over the Enforcer? Speed? Enforcer is faster, I think. They both are amphibious. Damage? Enforcer wins guaranteed. The line damage of the Shatterer is good, but only for infantry and clustered light vehicles, but enforcers annihilates everything already. I suppose the Shatterer does more damage to buildings, I suppose. But Enforcer's more multi-role. Shatterer may be good, but worth a GP? But pardon me, as I'm just a lonely comp-stomper.

Supply Drop Zone should also get ROTR's Updated Model, I mean, WHY NOT? All the US production and research buildings are same, or better than the ROTR buildings.
It'd be cool if the neutron infantry death effect is used for death by plasma, too...

I was the original creator of that fan patch. Most of the stuff I did in that fan patch were unneeded and were purely for experimental purposes. This one is much better refined due to the resources I had like testers and help from others.

Shatterers actually win on the "damage" part, especially in lines. Unlike enforcers, they also benefit from strategies given by the strategy center and veterancy. I typically use the Enforcers for precision surgical strikes, while I bring out Shatterers when I want to kill entire armies.

No ROTR updated models. They look very bad next to the really old models dating back to 2005.

If this is still a problem with a price nerf, I can look into additional measures, like a firepower nerf.

The problem is not the price. The problem is the strength and speed.
I see the problems so far.

I was waiting this moment so long, but when I've read the changelog, I began to doubt that new version will be better, than old one. A half of changes is bullshit, other half is changed by wrong way, also there are no many other realy important changes. I am disappointed

well, you're kinda right. But give them some credits, they fixed a lot of stuff. but there are a lot more to be fixed.

With the community reunited via SWR.net, it'll be easier to figure out pvp imbalances since the community is much more active at this point and time.

Theres still room for future balances so the issues that don't get tackled immediately may be tackled in a future minor patch smile.gif

i am not mad about it, however i expected more efficient balance changes since this mod has been played for years now.
it is way more balanced than before but it's still needs work you know.
