I haven't encountered this yet in the Vgen and VZH.
I was playing a game vs Laser General and I noticed sometimes when his MDs die of mines and arms fire they keep on walking until they sink instead of doing the dying effect. -------------------- |

I'v seen this myself not to long ago it's indeed a bug that requires fixing.

I've seen a similar thing when Tank Hunters are in Outposts, if the outpost is destroyed, the Tank Hunters will "float" out.

Are the tank hunters supposed to die with the outpost? Because they walk to their death anyway under a tanks treads, they don't care about attacking or any other order.

Would be better NOT to remove this bug, unless it has unforseen consequences. Although would be hilarious in multiplayer as a great psyche-out.

Are the tank hunters supposed to die with the outpost? Because they walk to their death anyway under a tanks treads, they don't care about attacking or any other order. They are not supposed to die, and a fast player can use their escape sprint to use TNT on enemy tanks before they get shot. -------------------- |

How about having it fixed, if possible, and letting me chose either I send them to TNT, attack ranged or just hold position instead of trying to make us of them when they are running to get trampled? Plus they have a weird trajectory line when they go like that, yellowish...
But this is Generals so no matter how good or fast of a commander your units won't always do as you wish; the so often pirouettes, taking a longer route, bumping into stuff and getting stuck or simply giving them an order and freezing or moon walking. So nothing out of the ordinary in the Generals universe you just have to cope with such things; if I'd want to play with smarter units I would just go for 40k. I'd play more DoW2 if I had a better video card. |

This has been in for aeons, it seems to happen when infantry die extremely quickly and suddenly. It may appear as if they are frozen or still walking when they are actually dead and no longer on the map.
