With 1.8 having been released for a couple of weeks now, I believe you guys have had the time needed to try out all the ECA units. I have, I know that. And the SWR team has done a splendid job with making the unit voices for the ECA. Amazing job, guys!

Honestly? The Arnie voice on the Manticore. It came completely out of left field for me, especially given how he interacts with what is apparently the tanks computer.

The Pandora crewman really does say 'Turning keys in 3, 2, 1". 'Earning peace' would sound mindblowingly cheesy.
My favourites: Pandora, Manticore, Lynx, Jaeger, Commandos and Medics. Fun-fact: The only one of these units that was voiced by a person of the same nationality as the unit is Jaeger. Beyond that, we have the non-descript Pandora and the Swedish Lynx voiced by a Norwegian, the German Manticore voiced by an American Arnold impersonator, British Commandos voiced by an American and British Medics voiced by what was described to me as a very Texan American. |

The British Mortar Tracks were also voiced by an American (IIRC the same one that did the Commandos), the Eurofighter VOs were done by IPS (German) and I actually did the Vulcans.

The Eurofighter wasn't actually supposed to sound British; it's quite close to IPS' rather noticeable, natural German accent, albeit a bit overacted for the sake of adding character to his lines. Not sure who did the Mole. Could have been Comr4de or one of his mates. The thing is, we also play around with the pitch of these voices in post-production to mask over the fact that many of them are actually the same person. For example, both the Harrier and the WASP are actually Comr4de.

I'll be making a video reel of all our voice overs with the Voice Actor's photo and the units they've done. Later on I will also make the blooper reels we have for the shenanigans that happened in between as well as tangents and other funnies.
