Disclaimer: This is not meant to be a political commentary as such. I just found it interesting given what people usually think about the state of military tech currently among the superpowers of the world.

So......what exactly is the statement/intent of this thread, aside from the trite 'F-35 is bad' news stories from armchair aviation experts and 'look, China and Russia have new tanks/aircraft, clearly the US have lost their edge and will be way outclassed in RL now' alarmism?
