Out! Out ye of feline orientation!

Edit:

This thread is for dogs and dogs only. Go make a Cat thread for the coots. Doogs deserve their own unperturbed thread.

Damfoo thats just poor in taste :C

Here's a question for you folks-

favourite dog breed?

Mine has to be the Bouvier. Grew up with em, love the shitheaded mini bears to death.

Belgian breed originally, 16th century. Bred for cattle herding and for guard duty, very large breed.

Famous for towing Belgian and French soldiers along the trenchlines on stretchers and hauling ammunition during the Great War, and is generally a "Poor Man's Workhorse" in a sense.

Also famous for a puppy getting frightened and biting Hitler's hand when the Belgian ambassador brought her pup to a meeting with the infamous dictator. They were ordered to be exterminated, but the breed survived the Nazi's brutality by being saved and smuggled to Britain by caring Belgian and French veterans as well as British and other dog sympathisers.

Ears and tails are typically cropped traditionally, to help prevent injury as they've been known to get their tails and ears snagged/injured when working or in general.

Stubborn dog, but very loving and paternalistic. Will be protective of their family and is generally lazy, likes belly scritches and attention. Has bad cases of arthritis in their hips when they get older as most large dogs do. They also have ridiculous sounding barks, that sound more akin to goofy roars. Known for their bear like appearance and their great "beards."

My favorite dog breed is a cat.

Posted by: Mr.Kim 7 Dec 2015, 21:08

Well... I'm a big fan of doogle or whatever, but my favorite dog is the Husky.

Posted by: Basilisx 8 Dec 2015, 9:08

^The first Husky Photo in the mountains looks great.

When I move in together with my GF next year, we plan to get a Shetland Sheepdog. This breed is a bit smaller than a Labrador Retriever, to make a comparison. It is also highly intelligent and they look so adorable blush.gif
