It is now time to drown a newborn baby in maple syrup to appease the bloodlust of the Queen of England, glory to Canuckistan.
Pray the baby is from Quebec, the blood of the French appeases her greatly -------------------- |

Although a bit late, I would like to congratulate to all Canadians of the forum, and also to my relatives living in Canada.

Albertan here, still looking for job, worst Canada Day ever. I know the pain. I too am Albertan. I went from welding to working security at a liquor warehouse/store. It's pretty crud. Least the jobs that are available are gonna have minimum wage rising soon; so even if the oil jobs do not open up to boom time levels its going to be a bit easier to at least survive on low income jobs. Honestly, at this point we need to diversify our economy; its been years proof enough that as good as the oil boom can be, give it an oil surge from the Saudi's to flood the market and you'll have problems like this, or the dreaded day the oil extraction here becomes way too inefficient to be profitable. But that's enough politics for now. QUOTE For Cadiaaa- oh! :/ damn heretic fooled me again! Cadia is based off of Canada y'know Cadia= Peacekeeper fortress planet full of pine trees and its generally cold near the eye of terror: Warhammer fantasy has the Arctic poles as their equivalent eyes of terror= This post has been edited by ComradeCrimson: 2 Jul 2015, 17:37 -------------------- |

Hey Crimson, how was the Stampede parade today?
I went downtown to go to the mosque, then I had work, so I had no chance. Really wanted to try the deep fried shit this year, but it's still Ramadan. Next year maybe. |

Next year maybe. I've been too busy to watch the Stampede unfortunately; I reckon I should go to Calgary at some point, been a number of years since I attended the rodeo and stampede. I'm going to Nova Scotia for a trip on the 26th for some time. -------------------- |

On the topic of Calgary Fuck it and the shitty ass excuse for a hockey team named the flames. Cannuck4life. shots fired Oh who am I kidding I don't even care that much about NHL hockey. Oilers would technically be my closest team but... eh. Not a big fan. Now; the junior leagues are far more entertaining, it hasn't been terribly corporatized yet. Oil Kings, a junior league team here recruits a lot of young guys from around my local area in particular, all around Edmonton and the various counties, including my very own home county. -------------------- |

Bah, most of our oil gets extracted by American companies and then transferred to American soil through American pipelines anyhow. It's just done peacefully, which is the difference.

Not that its enjoyed by us either. The fact that for 44 years they were paying the bare minimum of royalties pisses me off, and the moment the oil market dick begins to go limp due to the Saudi flood of crude oil on the market, what do they do? Lay off half the workforce and be dicks. I hope they all get nationalized and lose their entire investments, we'd get better employment if it was the latter anyways. -------------------- |
