We have heard your complaints. We saw the bugs, the crashes, the despair of those who couldn't play the Generals' Challenges. And now, we have a fix. First in the list of fulfilling our promise of keeping ShockWave maintained, 1.201 has been released. Here is the changelog: CODE Bug Fixes -Generals' Challenge no longer crashes on load -Snow Supply Docks no longer have missing texture bugs -Supply Piles no longer have missing texture bugs -Pillbox now properly deals damage -Intro Movie plays properly now -Overlord tanks and Emperor Overlord tanks now fire properly at infantry -Siege Soldiers can no longer enter Little Birds or Combat Chinooks China -Scout Cars have a taunt now Stealth General -Stealth Rebel Bike damage changed from 12.0 to 10.0 (normalized with vGLA bike) If you have not downloaded 1.2 yet, a fixed version has been released on all mirrors which fully incorporates 1.201's fixes, so you will not need to download this patch. Hi all,
Firstly would really like to thank Hunter, GeneralCamo and the team. I only just saw the release but cant download at moment, time for work soon. I read through the change log and looks cool. If I can add a few points, not to be ungrateful of course, if it wasn't for you guys, I wouldn't have this game to play (I play quite a lot, have many videos on youtube, so im happy with whatever you guys do). 1. Have the hot keys been updated? I can't remember all of them now, but I remember, GLA hot key for CAPTURE and CAMO upgrade had the same keys, also the Infantry General, Lotus and Siege soldiers have the same key. 2. Salvage doesn't have the junk repair as it comes free, but I think it would be better to keep it in the scrap yard and give it as free purchased, as it has happened to me whilst playing with friends, if they surrender (and they are my allies) or I capture the supply centre and build up, then I don't have the junk repair upgrade and cant purchase it. 3. The Super weapon Humvee, its already an expensive unit compared to the rest, but I think the upgrade for it should be the same as the other USA, the TOW missile from the factory, so it doesn't make it them super expensive, rather than buying it for each Humvee and adding the cost up. 3b. Also maybe if they can choose between the 2 weapons once upgraded, rather than just having to keep one, would pay off for being expensive? 4. I always wanted to be able to use the flash bang automatically in ZH, once you select it on an infantry then you have to choose the gun mode again but it wont fire flash bang and if you choose flash bang it wont shoot the gun, you cant make it automatic again, if there was a 3rd option, for the rangers, to use 1. only gun, 2. only flash bang and 3. use both? 5. A really big thing I thought would make the game better in ZH, would have been if allied teams could somehow give each other money, (I make maps and I have made this possible through scripts in some of my maps), maybe if friendly supply trucks could have an option to take from allied supply centres, or just an option from the Command Centre, to give money, or a special unit that flies to the other command centre/supply centre. 6. Salvage scrap yard, sometimes making this too close to the edge of the map, means you can't collect the salvage dropped by the scrap yard, if perhaps you could way point it? 6b And perhaps the salvage could be placed at a distance or across the map via a small flying unit which can be shot done, so its a risk. 7. I don't know if this is good, but I thought a super cool unit which might work, would be a flying hijacker for stealth??? so it can hijack helicopters, (maybe even planes?). 8. I noticed the Armour burton has been edited, shooting through terrain would be an extra advantage? as its still a normal "gun" just like normal infantry and snipers have, maybe that shouldn't be? and the fact of it being able to target direct units is cool, but many times its had its advantage of just shooting the unit before eve though you target the one behind. Just what I thought and some of my friends who I play with but its still cool this way. I understand why the enforcer has been stopped from transporting but that was something super cool, never had a crash with it whilst we played. Perhaps if it has an option to go stealthed, then get to its destination and become unstealthed? so same thing really. 9. Are ships going to be added to shockwave? would be nice. Never tried the scrap yard rotating thing, but yea will do thanks. |
