It's a great honor that you've finally posted it here in our forums...
She brought back freedom and democracy in the RP through the People Power Revolution more than 2 decades ago, and survived several coups during her term. Many of us haven't been born during her days but we have learned a lot from her... Rest in Peace, Cory, there's a lot of people still loving you... Here's a video I've found where the late former President is now being put to her final resting place...
The reason why she is now buried at nighttime is because the funeral march took almost half a day (around from 10.00 am-8.00 pm) because of so many people gathering and joining the march. (unfortunately the full coverage of the funeral is on the local TV) ...and it's an amazing thing to know that the 4 honor guards who surrounded her during the funeral stood straight with minimal movement for that very long period (they have been reported that they went straight to the nearest toilet to take a leak after they've finally reached the cemetery), and they were the attraction of the media for some time for their feats This post has been edited by D' WRTHBRNGR: 9 Aug 2009, 13:48 -------------------- "Not in mood...go away..."
