China

China being the weakest factor ever has the most struggling time ever as your avg Joe Dual WF spam thingy does not exactly work anymore .

Against USA


i suggest your safest bet is to go Dual WF and spam Gattling tanks and harass his right and left flank if you take down his eco he can not build more planes and that gives you a easy ensured victory , raptors do own Gatling tanks so its rather hard to win and cobras are a pain so you must rush really really quickly , you can get at least two gats on the go by the time he achieves any kind of Aircraft.

i like to sneak a dozer to a flank or if its a wide open map , somewhere near his base and sneak a gattling defense and maybe another WF mindfuck.gif

Against Russia

This is another kind of army you dont want to let tech up at all. BMPs are like light Anti Personal/Light vehicle Tanks so you want to secure map control to close them from Going Rush crazy , since his Tungniskas spare par to your gats but build faster its best to have a War factory and a barrack and built the gats and tank hunters together in one and try (if possible) to find rural land and put tank hunters in buildings. the idea is to stay on the offense as russias defense is not good at all.

China vs USA
ECM/Gattling tank combination is quite useful against USA.

Overall China
Building forward bunker (to attack your enemy) might be useful too (but not easy to implement).

ECM doesn't disable vehicle in RotR. Jam communication ability makes enemy units unselectable. It's still function but cannot be controlled.
However, it can be used in combination with attack units to disrupt enemy supplyline because the enemy won't be able to order the supply vehicle to move away from harm.

Casojin that is incorrect the jammer makes a aoe affect that disables vehicles. You should test for yourself the other jammer thing would be to OP

I've tested it with my friend. The jammer prevented him from controlling his units.

IIRC the Banshee was designed to cut off a commander's ability to command his units with that new special ability. Casojin is correct.

The Banshee ECM does disable enemy vehicles within range if they stay there for too long, I've checked it by myself in game. It might be that it can both cut off communication and disable vehicles, in order to make it useful vs. AI, however that it can disable them is a fact.

Since talk is cheap, I checked the ini files themselves with astonishing results:
RocketMan is right, the ECM produces Jammer Objects with its special ability which will slowly deactivate enemy vehicles like the ZH ECM Tank's beam did.

Yup, I did not know it either. That effect was added in 1.5 btw, so most people just did not find it out yet. Probably added due to AI reasons.

disagree with china being the weakest, there are many options that are still available aside from dual wf, which is an obsolete BO anyway with the massive reduction of start up money (no cc cell+need to build a prop fast).

On a more serious note, the Chinese lack IMO a cost-effective anti ground low tech unit. Russia has the BMP, which is like a light tank filled with Infa, and USA have the very fast Humvee. If China would get an overall slight price reduce, they could spam a bit easier. However this is not my decission.

20k just puts china at an actual disadvantage since USA can just put down defenses and turtle for upgraded raptors
