need to enable 3 eca protcols

hi every one

is there any way to enable the 3 ECA protocols together ??

any .big files need to be edited ?? for skirmish purpose

There a program called finalbig040b you can download on internet.
Open FinalBIG.exe.
File>>Open>>Search on C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour\!Rotr_INI.gib
be careful here you can do the typical Technical Difficulties error so backup file.

Go to Data\INI\Object\Europe\Buildings\ResearchCenter.ini
and copy paste on

I believe someone did a similar question in the past, there's a problem: two of the protocol's icons overlap. I have no idea how to fix it, but perhaps if you deal with this it works.

Not the same, but I started as Russia and went against four ECA. Once ECA picks its protocol you can capture the research facility and produce that unit. However it is random selection so I had to restart alot of times until three ECA,s picked the three protocols. In the end I had all three protocols and the Black Bear. laugh.gif laugh.gif

Just allow the construction of multiple research facilities. Then get 3, use one protocol on each once you hit rank 5.

This is possible in the normal game too, so long as your enemy captures your Research Facility. You can build another one, then capture the old one back and get 2 protocols that way. But yeah, using this logic removing the build limit on the Research Facility is the easiest way to go.

You can't get multiple bonii though because Hunter coded against that case (it was possible in MP due to natural lag to gain 2 or even 3 Protocols researched).

does the code work as building a unit or an object/global upgrade?

surely object upgrades have the conflicting upgrade thing to stop you from getting multiple

Heh. I like the thinking here. You set correct goal, but went in the wrong path.
I've edited all of it in my style: You don't need the general's power for those protocols anymore. And if you sereach one, doesn't matter which one, you get advantages of all of them. Better superweapon, Manticore, exosceletons, everything. You want to have army of venoms and Manticores? No problem.
And for Russia, you can build as many Blackbears, as you'd like. The same for nulcear weapons, which are better (they are nuclear, in the end, and they are IBCMs, so…).
Yeah, I don't like any limitation. All sides are unlimited, so it's fair.
